yes it will.
WOOOO Fuck you PoE!!!!
yes it will.
Among everyone who ever played Destiny? Yeah. Among the active player base? I don't know man. Most people missing N these things are either old timers coming back for TTK or people who joined recently.I think clearance percent of HM raids is a lot lower than you assume.
So just to confirm, exotic bounties get auto completed? I have an elder cipher that has like 150 points on it. So I'll be able to cash it in after the patch for an exotic?
Can anyone clarify the Redbull promo for me? I see there is a quest and a xp boost, are these separate types of codes or does redeeming one get you both?

Last stop: Hype point O.

I'm not going on an elitist tirade like "you scrubs aren't worthy"! Btw in case I came across that way.
I just think it'd be compelling to have some stuff be truly skill-gated. Trials was intended to be like this, but as shown by my multiple Flawless runs, you can be carried and get stuff that doesn't reflect your skill level.
Someone who has 80% wins or 2.0 K/D in Trials with over 1,000 wins like some of our resident pros should have something to show for it. A truly rare emblem or shader or weapon that warns opponents "oh snap this guy's a beast".
Or like, you did a flawless raid solo? Cmon you earned something special. You hit your 10,000th Crucible win? Here's a veteran shader. Your 100th Mark of the Unbroken? Here, a cool class item.
I'd love to see items in game mean something. As it is, everyone who plays enough has everything.
Anyone up for weekly? Need to do it twice more. Just came back from class and need to do this before the patch.
WOOOO Fuck you PoE!!!!
So...is patch 2.0 live...or...?
I know my dregs promise "for free" about the value it should be.

So is the nightfall and weekly going away once 2.0 hits?
If Bungie ever showed some real statistics, we'd see how far we're separated from the general population. I too thought like you, but then realized some people haven't even killed Atheon yet. By far, we're very much an outlier in the Destiny community.
That said, it would be nice for Bungie to give some cool shit to their fanatic fans. And I'm sure they will rectify that with TTK.
Ah damn it, looks like no nightfall for me this week then.Should go away, yes.
Anyone up for weekly? Need to do it twice more. Just came back from class and need to do this before the patch.
People who look to Grimoire or a flawless emblem or a Gjallarhorn as an indicator of skill aren't elitists, they're just dumb. These things mean nothing. And that's the whole point. Nothing means anything in the game because everybody has everything.Meh, I don't know. I understand why some people would want it, but I don't know why it needs to exist. Something like 1 or 2% of the community would have completed the triumphs. Having a subsection carved out that rewards 0.00005% seems excessive.
The biggest problem I have still have with Destiny is the elitist attitudes that pollute the community. People discriminate based on weapon choices (ie. Gally), Grimoire score, Mercury emblem, K/D, hours played, character level etc etc. Having something else that simply creates another level in this caste system seems arbitrary. I'm not, by any means, suggesting you share those attitudes. I just think that we have enough ways to show why X is better than Y + Z.
PS - I thought I'd add that I absolutely love the people I play with. I have chosen to surround myself with people that don't subscribe to the elitist mentality, and it has been wonderful.
I don't think I like you saying this.
Also, setting goals like that is not enticing, it is downright enslaving. Meaning most players would look at these requirements and laugh out loud. They'd never even attempt them.
The current triumph card was something that most people looked at and went: "OK I might go for it." And even after having said that, many people never got that Skolas kill. Many did not care enough to farm public events.
Hands down the Bow, no contest.I already have the Lord of Wolves. Which one should I choose?
Queenbreaker's Bow or Dreg's Promise?

If you're just missing it for collections I understand - but I haven't seen anyone wear it in forever. It's not terribly useful.

I'm logging in now to run one if you're still looking.
I'm close to finishing the one I'm currently in. We just made it to Omnigul.I'm down if you still have space.

There is one code under the tab of promotional red bull cans.
Once you enter it you will gain access to a exclusive quest once TTK hits, and you also get a new item called "Focused Light" which offers a 30min xp boost. This item will show up for you at the postmaster once the code is entered.
Yep, any exotic bounties will auto-complete once 2.0 drops.
Well done dude, I'm going to change my avatar back to "tooken" status!
I would love for Raid shaders or emblems to only be available while that raid is new. Sure, you can go back and get the gear, but Chatterwhite is just available for those that beat him Vanilla, same for Crota during the Dark Below, and Skolas during House of Wolves.
Over-leveling trivializes previous raid accomplishments. It'd be cool to have something to show for "I did this while it was the hardest thing out there."
As it stands the only emblem in the game that won't be outdone is the Eye of Osiris for a flawless trials card.

The former.
Queenbreakers without a doubt
Spot open for weekly

Might have to join V1ctim since he's leader
I disagree. I think this naturally works out. Sure, everyone may be wearing chatterwhite or glowhoo now, but in the first month or 2 of release, it was rare to see someone with those shaders. And when you did, you were in awe. By the time those raids are trivialized, people are wearing the skolas shader, or the next raid shader, to show off their latest badge of honor.
I couldn't agree more!
Wow, that was easy. The promise is that bad, huh?

Wut....if you like a gun that's "exotic" feature doesn't work go for it, queens breaker is better than lord of wolves in my opinion.
Sorry for mobile link but, if I'm reading this correctly we won't need a Crux to upgrade Eidolon Ally to Necrochasm after the update? Looks like it will just be motes.
