Bill Walton just said San Antonio was exhibiting "shrinkage" :lol

I hate Bill Walton, he is like the The John Madden of Basketball always stating the obvious

Bill Walton: "10 turnovers for the Spurs are not going to get it done"

no shit Bill.....

I totally agree. Every Spur player and Spurs fan is thinking about last year's Lakers series right now. The Spurs had all the answers a few days ago. Now they look like girl scouts, and instead of getting sex changes and becoming the men they should be, they only care about sitting on the bench with their "dear God, please make it stop" shitface looks and telling themselves under their breaths that Games 6 and 7 are in San Antonio.

Is there ANY DOUBT that this series is going back to SA with the Pistons up 3-2? What bitches the Spurs are.

"I WAS IN THE POOL!"

I'm missing classic on air comments like this so I can see this **breaking weather coverage**. I'm sure none of you care because I'm the only one in this state watching basketball, but I just don't understand breaking news into live sports coverage. Isn't it obvious to anyone with half a brain that every other local station will also be cutting into their broadcasts of soap operas, sitcoms, or dancing with the stars. Just leave the sports alone, if I'm one of the 6 people in the panhandle of Oklahoma I'll change the station to find out about the non-tornadic 50 mph winds they might cause power to go out in some areas. Ok, I think I'm done with this topic.

Nope, they just told me possibly up to 2000 people have lost power...and the guy on the tv said that this is more important than the nba playoffs. jesus...

Well if these Jamie Foxx halftime vignettes continue like this, where the featured player scores like 25 a game..

Horace Jenkins will come into the game in the second half and light up the spurs!

C'mon now. The way the Spurs are playing, even Don Vito could light them up out there. :lol

:lol The Spurs are due for a run though, and my gut instinct says the Pistons will have their 3rd quarter lull

Oh well time to see if the Spurs will at least try + make it look close

Detroit has been amazing tonight and the Spurs look dead. If they don't react fast I guess all we have left is to wait until Game 6 to see if playing at home will give them back some life and heart.

Wow, Pistons are just running circles around the Spurs. Everytime the Spurs make a little run, Detroit comes right back with a run of their own.

I'm at a loss for words. The Pistons are a great team, but this is not the Spurs team I know and they shouldn't get beat like this. I can only imagine what Pop will yell to them from the end of this game until Sunday.

Wow! Good home stand by the Pistons. I was pretty disappointed after they got housed in Games 1 & 2, but these last two games have been good. Well played. Time to give Darko some finals minutes now. :lol PEACE.

Well if that bet between John Salley and Eva Longoria stands, if the Pistons win the series Eva will show up on Best Damned wearing a bikini.

Regardless of who wins though, I know for sure Stephen A. Smith will still want to make me kick my TV in.

This isn't the Spurs team you know? WTF?! This is EXACTLY the Spurs team that you know.

Typical Spurs teams are ones that look like worldbeaters one second and a bunch of hairy truckers the next. It's not uncommon for a Spurs team to disappear like this. It happened last year. It happened in the Robinson years. This isn't the last time it will happen either. Hell, in 2003 when the Spurs won the title it was because Speedy Claxton picked up Parker when he bitched out. Every series clinching game was a result of a monster comeback. The Lakers were a great team, but if you think the Spurs weren't allowing themselves to be mentally affected in those series when they were making it through every other like it was cake then I don't know what team you have been watching.

It's Duncan. It's Popovich. It's this "nice guy" mentality. Sure, it's great for PR, but it sucks when you need fire to will your team to victory. The Spurs don't have it, they've never had it, and .... wait for this.... next year they won't have it either. Spurs are a great team, but a dynasty in the making? FUCK NO.

Wake me up when the Spurs are completely dead. They're playing really bad, but so did the Pistons at SA and the Spurs still have homecourt. Nothing will be easy for either team.

As long as they find that "good guy" mentality that took them to two titles I could give a crap.

:lol @ Al Michaels trying to stick up for Darko

Damn, I'd hate to be a Piston fan and look at Darko and realize it should be Dwayne Wade or at least Carmelo Anthony. Must be tough ;)

Of course a ring or two will ease that pain for sure :)

This is the Spurs team that outran the Suns. They scored over 100 points in every game, including the loss.

SA 121, Pho 114
SA 111, Pho 108
SA 102, Pho 92
Pho 111, SA 106
SA 101, Pho 95

However, when Detroit is playing well, its defense is just outstanding. They clog passing lanes, limit penetration, block shots, and get position -- basically the fundamentals (that the Spurs also possess). Spurs fans can say all they want that the Spurs aren't playing like they should be, but 95% of the credit needs to go to the Pistons.

That said, I stand by my “Spurs in 6” prediction. :p

Lebron is now watching Darko playing in the NBA finals from the stands.

It would be even weirder if Lebron wound up paying for a ticket to watch Darko play.

Don't get me wrong, the Spurs are not playing like they should, but I know the Pistons are the major reason for that. As I said in my first post tonight they have played fantastic at home, especially tonight.

I just think maybe going home the Spurs can make the role reversal once again, seeing as how the series has unfolded.

Even more f'ed up is that Darko has one ring while LeBron has none. If he gets another this year, King James may never catch him :lol

damn, 31 points

I wonder what the largest deficit any team has ever lost in the Finals by and still won the series.

Magic said in 91 that whether or not they lost by 2 or 20, the series is 1-1 with Chicago. They lost the next three.

This was a psychological ass-kicking.
