Horace Jenkins will come into the game in the second half and light up the spurs!

I'm sure none of you care because I'm the only one in this state watching basketball, but I just don't understand breaking news into live sports coverage. Isn't it obvious to anyone with half a brain that every other local station will also be cutting into their broadcasts of soap operas, sitcoms, or dancing with the stars. Just leave the sports alone, if I'm one of the 6 people in the panhandle of Oklahoma I'll change the station to find out about the non-tornadic 50 mph winds they might cause power to go out in some areas. Ok, I think I'm done with this topic.
Nope, they just told me possibly up to 2000 people have lost power...and the guy on the tv said that this is more important than the nba playoffs. jesus...

by the way if anyone is interested in the weather here a farming coop (i did not know what that was till i moved here) has lost power
C'mon now. The way the Spurs are playing, even Don Vito could light them up out there.
EekTheKat said:hmmm..does this mean Lebron has been to more NBA finals games than Carmelo?

ParkPace said:This isn't the Spurs team you know? WTF?! This is EXACTLY the Spurs team that you know.
Typical Spurs teams are ones that look like worldbeaters one second and a bunch of hairy truckers the next. It's not uncommon for a Spurs team to disappear like this. It happened last year. It happened in the Robinson years. This isn't the last time it will happen either. Hell, in 2003 when the Spurs won the title it was because Speedy Claxton picked up Parker when he bitched out. Every series clinching game was a result of a monster comeback. The Lakers were a great team, but if you think the Spurs weren't allowing themselves to be mentally affected in those series when they were making it through every other like it was cake then I don't know what team you have been watching.
It's Duncan. It's Popovich. It's this "nice guy" mentality. Sure, it's great for PR, but it sucks when you need fire to will your team to victory. The Spurs don't have it, they've never had it, and .... wait for this.... next year they won't have it either. Spurs are a great team, but a dynasty in the making? FUCK NO.

Lebron is now watching Darko playing in the NBA finals from the stands.
It would be even weirder if Lebron wound up paying for a ticket to watch Darko play.
