I'm loving it too. It really reminds me of Equilibrium's (the movie) soundtrack.

How safe is this? Does Afterburner monitor your GPU temps? I've OC'd my CPU before but never my GPU... I'm wondering if upping the voltage would prevent the crashes I get in DX11 too (on a GTX570).razorman said:If you are having crashing problems with an OC'D 580 (like the MSI Twin Frozr) you need to increase the voltage with Afterburner. Seems like the stock voltages causes severe crashing problems in DX11 - Crysis 2, FEAR 3 and DX:HR all have this issue. Increasing voltage to 1025mv fixed all the crashing for me.

Honestly, this is probably for the best. I'd only want more content if the pacing and quality were up to snuff. And yes, I DID enjoy the final level - atmospherically and thematically, it was superb.EatChildren said:Just one chunk of a lot of content that had to be scrapped to meet deadlines. As the devs put it, they had extra hubs and levels that would have made DE:HR ~100 hours long.

Also I presume you aren't doing much stealth.
Yes, it's accounted for in the dialogue as well.robotzombie said:Thanks guys, but is it okay if I did it before I even got that main quest?
Riposte said:I felt like the soundtrack was pretty meh for the most part, though not necessarily bad. Aside from LIMB and Sarif Industries(I may be forgetting one or two) they are not really good beyond very simple ambiance.
It is really telling of the times when you compare Deus Ex to it. Light-years apart.

What do you need to do? I made a stealth focused character so just running down there and going ape shit with a heavy machine gun is probably out of the question.BackwardsSuggestions said:You have to be quick.

It's a good job DE:HR barely uses more than one core then, amiright?
When looking at processor performance we found that the clock speed had little influence on frame rates. Based on our findings any processor capable of supporting just two threads is going to perform poorly on Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The game was able to utilize more than four threads, but any of todays quad-core processors should more than suffice, whether it's an AMD Phenom II X4 or Intel Core i3/i5/i7

Something about this comment resonated with me and I went back and listened to some of the iconic tracks from DX1 and I absolutely agree. While masterfully epic, this soundtrack would simply not fit in with the overtly cinematic style of modern game design. The difference in tone between the main theme from DX1 and the Icarus theme from this game is pretty striking. Somehow it feels to me like the thematic tone of the music from DX1 wouldn't match the tone of this game either... I guess that's the "grittier" modern game effect.Draft said:I don't think it would be possible for HR to have a more memorable soundtrack than the original. Not just because the original soundtrack is God tier, but because that style of soundtrack isn't in vogue anymore. Modern game music is very movie like. The tracks tend towards ambiance rather than just being standalone songs.
