I didn't read every comment here, but I kinda get the feeling people are viewing this as some huge negative, and a bad sign for the console, but in the grand scheme of things, I really don't feel it matters. It's more than likely still plenty capable in ways that outdoes the Wii-U. Even if it isn't, I think they've still probably done enough to make sure they've built a machine that they feel will make the vision they have for Switch possible.
I always try to be careful not to ever put too much weight into technical superiority and try my best to keep in mind the importance of trying new things, or attempting to be somewhat creative with a product. I trust Nintendo's vision and creativity will validate the technical decisions they've made.
