Disgaea 4 Premium Edition Announced

How much of an improvement is this over 1 or 3? I've played 1 and enjoyed it, I'm sitting on a copy of 3(Going to off load, but been tempted to play it). Is it more of the same, or did they drastically improve on the system?

So anther LE to add to the pile of non-selling LEs at my local gamestop.

I would still rather just have a CD.

I think Aksys sold a Nendoroid figure with one of the BlazBlue games. It's not unheard of.

The Noell Vermillion Nendoroid was sold separately from the game in their online store and at their Anime Expo booth that year. I don't think it ever came bundled with the North Americna version of the game, while the Nendo was packed in with the JPN Limited Edition. I do remember it selling out really quickly on their online store.

Was set on the Super Premium edition but the non-Nendo figures don't look too great.

Wow I didnt know the Disgaea 4 A Promise Unforgotten Figurine Edition would be $119.99. Definitely gonna sign up for the reminder for that one, I dont want to miss out on Disgaea goods, love the series.

Wow, that seems kind of ridiculous. The Premium edition is cheaper than I expected, so I put a reminder in for that, but those other figures don't look like they're worth anywhere near $60 to me.

well damn, the Premium figure set edition costs $120 :S, I will go with the premium set for $60 and the normal edition costs only 50 bucks and comes with the OST

been thinking about retrying this series. I tried it once and it seemed like a game that someone that's obsessed with stats would do well at. I'm definitely not that guy. Should I just give up on the series or actually give it another try?

Disgaea games have an entertaining story which you can complete without diving too much into any of the more interesting gameplay mechanics. I guess that can be fun, too, but you're definitely missing out on the bigger part of the game.

Wow, double the price of the premium edition for the figures. :[

While it makes sense as those figures are probably not cheap, I actually have to think about it now. At least I get to decide by July.
I'll probably impulse buy by then anyway :[

Wow, it's pretty shitty, but according to Siliconera the Fuka figure in the premium edition is NOT the Nendoroid, but one of the trading figures. This was a day one purchase for me, now I'll have to think about it, the trading figures look pretty cheap to me. At least we found out about it now instead of waiting until people started getting it in the mail. Especially sucks since they show the Nendoroid box on the NISA store. Lame.

Really conflicted now. Sure, the figures aren't bad, but not even sure if I want to spend the extra money for them.

I guess I want to wait on actual impressions of the figures.

If they are the trading arts figures then there should already be people who have them. From images they do not look bad in total (Axel one looks cool).

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT!

*NOT* the Nendoroid? Epic fail. Maybe the European release (ahahaha) will have it.

...

;_;

Sucks that everyone's down on the figures now (with good reason I'm sure), but I'll probably still get the $120 version anyway.

What the fuck indeed! I knew it was too good to be true. Gonna go with regular now.

Also that figure looks absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!

Never got the appeal of Nendoroids. Would rather have a regular scale model of the character instead of a chibi version.

Well Prinny Bomb revealed the 9 figures

As we mentioned before, the Fuka figurine will be included with the Disgaea 4 Premium Edition and everyone that purchases the Disgaea 4 Premium Figure Set will get the exclusive Fuka figurine as well, for a grand total of 10 totally collectible figurines! Don't miss this chance to flaunt your Disgaea pride with these awesome figures, dood!

But this one just doesn't look quite as good as the chibi version..;<

I have a hard time believing that those figures are worth $72 according to their site.

Will probably just grab the premium edition instead.

$8 a figure is unbelievable?
For 2.3 inch figures that look a little rough from the promotional image shots they keep using, yes, $8 is unbelievable. I have a set of Nendorid petite Vocaloids that I picked up for around the same price that look a lot better, though I'd guess including a set of petites would increase the price a lot higher than it already is.

Looking at the close up picture of upside down Fuuka posted on the same page, the paint job looks a tad lazy and really doesn't look like an $8 figure. If I had to spend $120 on Disgaea 4, I'd probably get more out of two Premium Editions rather than one Premium Edition with 10 figures that I probably won't bother displaying anywhere.

I see. Thanks.

I don't get those emails because I never ordered from NISA before or have an account with them.
