i used the guide on the link below and it works perfect. So, you guys recommend to download Inspector? Because even though I have RTX 4080, I'm playing lots of old games to revisit them. Or Inspector shines with the new games?
I can call myself kinda power user but didn't use inspector nearly 10-15 years now.
If you set it per game (either in the NV App or Inspector), it will be kept, only the global DLSS overrides are reset on driver update.
i've found another visual bug with dlss 4 in ac shadows
overall it's still worth it but I hope they can fix this without reducing image clarity
update is liveAh ok, my app version is 11.0.2.3.41 latest version with 572.83 gpu driver
So yeah, nvidia app is trashy at the moment.
Nvidia inspector + DLSS swapper is the the ultimate combo.

With this option (show on screen indicator) detailed dlss info can be seen in real time so you can confirm dlss3/4 is working and in what preset:

In AC Shadows DLSS4 produces insane ghosting so that's why game uses preset E by default.
Not in my experience with DLSS4 forcing inspector to have everything in preset KI played ac with dlss4, because you get much crisper image and much more details, but its one of the buggiest game i've played with dlss4. It has really awful ghosting issues and you can see some annoying lines on the sky from time to time when moving the camera.
So dlss gives a clearer picture even in a lower resolution but it also kills birds ?rdr 2
Yeah, its amazing tech when implemented properly, frame gen in dark ages is indisguishable from native, the tech has a bright future.doom dark ages another game where dlss 4 really shines
its hard to compare when its not the exact same image. and for some reason, it's very low quality too. are you on a dial-up connection?really liking how good dlss 4 is in outlaws
and ray reconstruction is much cleaner with dlss 4
I compare in motion and it is difficult to align the exact same shot as a result. comparing while standing still would be pointless as all upscalers do a great job when standing stillits hard to compare when its not the exact same image. and for some reason, it's very low quality too. are you on a dial-up connection?
