Do GAF girls act like men in threads ?

Mur hudu f'sormok.

Maltese for 'go take it up the bum'. Used as a staple like 'Fuck you'.

Our language is incredibly colourful when it comes to swear words.

I can teach yall arabic, lets begin with the bad words.

I am going to go out of thread-lurk mode and chime in here. I need to practice my Arabic, my mom taught me Arabic when I was really young, but I never get a chance to use it. Whenever I try to use it with people I meet, they always do the same thing "Oh you speak Arabic? Then do you know what [says bad words in Arabic] mean?" - and I have to be like "No, my mom taught me all my Arabic, why would she teach me bad words!" then I get sad.

On the plus side, I have to be creative with my insults and my flirting. I once told a dude I wanted all of him inside me.

My ex was fluent in English and Korean, spoke a few other languages decently enough. She could be vulgar as hell in every single language except Korean, which she says just sounds wrong whenever you try to talk dirty. Like since it's the language she speaks to her parents in, somehow explicit sex talk is totally out of bounds. :lol

I think that would be "feebak jamil asa"? Arabic is hard to remember =/.

It's not too long of a story =p. Back in highschool I used to know a really annoying guy who was Arabic. He was super homophobic, unecessarily violent and him and his Arabic friends liked to reffer to themselves as 'sand niggers'. Anyway, one day he is 'teasing me' in front of his friends, so I decide to say to him as he and his buddies are walking away "Ya habibi! Ana ashti kulak dachilni!" (that's really hard to spell in english goddamn) - Anyway, I am not sure if I said it 100% right, but he got maaaaaaaaaaad, his friends laughed at him pretty hard and would for the next month or so tease him with it... not me for some reason though.

That's kinda how it was for me too, but I think I've gotten over that since I don't really use Arabic at all anymore. Still, the only bad word I know in Arabic is "sharmuta"

Men do not own curse words and no, men aren't the only ones who can act the way most men do. What I find funny is that all these people had to pop in and say "Oh, my friends who are girls act this way" and "I'm a girl and I act this way". It's like they came just to say girls don't act like girls anymore.

Not all girls are the same. It'd be silly to think so. But most girls are... well, for a lack of a better word... "girly". There's nothing wrong with that. Most of them don't curse like men or have the same attitude as men. I didn't think that's up for debate.

Here on GAF, I wouldn't expect to see a girl post "like a girl" for several reasons. I think it has to do with internet mentality, as in there's a certain way people act online that are different from how they'd be in real life. I think that attitude is unisex. Also, the attention that comes with the statement "I'm a girl" and a place where there's mostly men can be pretty tiresome or stressful. I can't imagine the amount of PMs girls get when they make it known on some forums.

Still it is not often one will find a girl who openly speaks about masterbation. Not often will you find women who curse like sailors or is "one of the guys". It's not common and that's cool. I think guys like it when they find a girl like that. I know I do.

Maybe they thought you really did want him... :lol

I used to speak fluent German when I lived there. Being back in the States I never have a chance to speak it.

I don't know why you got to come up in here with all your sense and logic, Blackie. You know no one has any patience for that business.

Oh god this is distracting me from my paper, deliciously so.
The last one is more like ket-ta-tee.

And I'll help whoever wants to know.

I can read Arabic but I can't understand it. I can understand a little bit of Hindi but I can't read it.. :lol Oh forgot, I can speak a bit Japanese but can't read it. I also know a bit of Persian. And just a few Spanish phrases.

I'm half Puerto Rican and can barely read/write Spanish.

Man, I almost didn't finish my paper. Finished it with 10 minutes to spare before turning it in, only for the delivery men to show up with my bed, my dog going nuts and my grandmother interrupting me e-mailing. Then I come to find my teacher has two e-mail accounts, so I sent my paper to one with 4 minutes to spare and the other one 2 minutes after the deadline. I explained to her what happened though. Ooof.

I know not all girls are the same. I wish you could break this to my (former) friend. She figured out she liked girls (also?) shortly before we parted ways, and lumped all straight girls with neurotic self obsessed personas while all lesbians were "cool as" and confident and don't judge other women based on looks like men do. All the lesbians she was attracted to dressed like men, so she thought dressing like men was linked to lesbianism (much to my chagrin as I wear men's clothing but date men) and looked into male clothing.

It pissed me off.

And talking openly about masturbation and shitting took a long time to get to. Its much easier to do online than in person.

I'm half Greek, and I'm somewhat fluent at it.
I really want to learn Spanish someday, its such a beautiful language!

Dated a Spanish hottie once, learned a few phrases from him.

Fuck kanji.

I have a very love/hate relationship with kanji. Once you get a character down, it can really help with reading and understanding. On the other hand, learning kanji in the first place is a pain, and there are a ridiculous amount of them that you need just in order to survive daily live in Japan (nevermind Chinese). Japan's fun mix of hiragana + katakana + kanji really just does feel like the most random, pieced-together language in the world.

Where did you live over there? Been there numerous times, the longest of which was living in Osaka going to a Japanese university for a year.

Oh, and BY THE WAY... I am NOT, just so we're clear, saying you should tell your partner that his dick is "pretty". I keep seeing that word brought up, and that's not all what I mean! *flails arms around in the air*

Eh. Girls can be that way but it's not something that all females do. With society and reality TV the way it is, it can't be too hard to believe that women (and men) are shallow. It's almost sickening.

And not all lesbians are cool. They can be just as shallow as straight girly-girls. :D

Trust me I know. I just didn't like her saying "Hey, you heterosexual women are all neurotic, but all the lesbians are really confident and kick ass". And that lesbians aren't as judgmental as men. I wanted to smack her and say "Everyone has the capacity to be a dick".

Still angry about her. But she is the past now.

@Shidoshi (god I use twitter too much) - I lived, well I lived near Yokosuka, about 30 minutes from there in Zushi. I went to school in Yokosuka though (Navy base, FTW!) I got a D in Japanese Intermediate, took a semester off, tried it again and ended up having to withdraw. It was insanity. There was a girl I took the class with, smart girl and can read more kanji and know what they meant than anyone in that class (of course, excluding the teacher) but we both were doing horribly because the teacher was taking off for particles and if you didn't write a character with the correct strokes.

Insanity. Yet, I have to take Japanese to graduate now because I started it. Fuckberries.

And just because I mention it, that doesn't mean you guys should resume talking about it again for another 938570398570298 pages D:

Dry weather, allergies and dehydration are common factors. Put pressure on nose bridge and lie down to reduce the bleeding. According to the movie "She's the Man", you may want to try using a tampon in the bleeding nostril, haha. I hope you're ok!

Ah ok. I don't know why I never googled that.

alright well the bleeding has stopped so I'm off to bed. Have to get up early to try and find a lion costume because an eBayer won't offer express post so that I would get my costume on time. Pretty sure there are no good places around here for costumes though, pfft stupid town. Night guys!

Clitoris, prostate, ham wallet, vertical smile, doodle?

Before you go to bed, get some vaseline and rub a very small amount in your nose. This will moisturize your nose and prevent it from getting dry which results in bleeding.

I'd DIE if nose bleeds meant I was attracted to someone/sexually frustrated.

Though it'd probably make my sexuality confusing.

28? Oh my, that's way too many posts for my liking. I think the only topic I posted just as much in was probably MAG, or Killzone 2. I post a lot more on the gaming side than here, and when I do post here, I forget about it and don't bother check back for replies.

If it weren't for all the vagina/penis talk, I probably wouldn't have posted that much in this topic either. :lol

Yeah, I've had plenty of people ask me if my g/f was secretly lesbian because she wears boy's clothing and isn't very feminine (swears like a sailor, more interested in sports than me, doesn't ever wear dresses, doesn't wear makeup, etc). It's pretty annoying them asking me that question.

Yeah it is. I've had both straight and gay people think I was bisexual for some odd reason. Though I'm sure me talking about lesbian being a sexy word, tits, looking at lesbian porn and vaginas aren't helping my case.

Maybe I'm in some deep rooted denial :|

Anyways, I FINISHED MY FINALS I AM SO HAPPY! I don't think I did supremely well on them, but considering I spent my morning till afternoon throwing up while attempting to decipher two sonnets, I will say I did pretty darn good.

How can a girl wear boys clothing? Or is jeans considered boys clothing?

I have two lesbian friends and they're just as girly girls as me. In appearance, I'm kind of a girly girl.

I do! I like guys' jeans a lot... I think I bought my first pairs of womens' jeans when I was pregnant. :lol Sometimes I still wear girl stuff now, though. Most of my t-shirts are guys shirts, too. I don't always like the way girly shirts are cut.

Wow, it's the first time I'm hearing about girls wearing guys clothes! I'm shocked!

I could never wear guys clothes. For one they won't fit on my hips properly since I kinda have hour-glass type figure, even though I'm quite slim. Plus, I like girly T-shirts because they emphasise your waist and make it look tinier as opposed to men's T-shirts. They don't accentuate your womenly "curves". I do like wearing my guys shirts at home, though. But outside? NO WAY!

Zomo said:

Wait, I can't tell if you're backing me up or not. Like, just because you wear guys clothing isn't an indication you're a lesbian, right, that's what you're saying? I'm sorry, sonnets are swimming around in my head currently.

I don't know my body shape, but I do like guys clothing because they're rather loose. I can be comfortable in form fitting clothes but for the most part I'm more about comfort than I am about style. Men's clothing is sexier to me and women in men's clothing is pretty hot to me as well.

There is a community on livejournal called Birls, full of genderqueer/heterosexual/lesbian/bisexual/pansexual/anyotherkindofsexualyoucanthinkof dressed like men. Pretty nifty.

Whoa, seriously? I didn't know there were so many women who liked wearing guy's clothes. I'm TRULY shocked. Don't most women dislike wearing shapeless clothing? Cause that's basically what men's clothes are.. shapeless. It looks very unattractive on a girl, imo. Unless you have a figure similar to a guy, I can't see it being more attractive than something that accentuates your shape.

I think something that fits your body is way more comfortable then loose or, as you say, tight form fitting clothing. When I say something that fits, I don't mean clothes that leave no room for movement. But that's the problem, most women don't even know what their body shape is. Plus, most men are (well, almost) the same shape, they just differ in size. But women vary so vastly that it can get a bit over-whelming for some women.

Eh, I wear small men's clothing (sometimes medium), so it still fits my body in certain ways, but over all is pretty loose. When I wear something tight, I just feel it ALL the time. Its weird.

Where are you from?

I don't like tight clothes myself, but I dislike wearing loose clothes as well! Unless it's for bed. I used to wear guy's clothes when I was 10-12, haven't worn them since I developed boobs and hips, so around late 13/early 14. I'm more of a size 8-10 (UK size) but I mostly wear size 10. Size 8 makes me look extra skinny! I'm not too fussy about style though, I'm more about comfort myself.

Currently? UK.
