It needs a new name. NX is too generic and too obtuse (if it is meant to stand for Nintendo "Cross"). It sounds cool in a 90s gamer sort of way but that isn't the market for this console (presumably).

I think it needs to be something energetic like Nintendo "Go", "Trek", "Dash", "Wave", "Flow", "Flux", "Wind", "Echo", "Bounce", or "Sprint".

It should definitely remain as NX. None of Nintendo now knows what it means, but if they're going for a cross platform between handheld and mobile, and Japan usually uses X as cross rather than 10, I think it should stay that way.
