I will say I'm a bit disappointed that the first character from previous Whos to appear in Eleven's is a historical figure, but I suppose Ten basically wrapped up all the storylines from both his and Nine's continuity.
Second after River, surely.

Also, The Fades made a promising start.

Its so crazy to me that episodes have been permanently lost...I'm just not used to living in a society where everything can't be backed up constantly.

It feels like they are going to have to squeeze in a whole lot of stuff into this last episode, and that is if they answered only half of the questions going round.

11 needs an adventure with Martha and Mickey.

I think I ended up liking Mickey more than Rose. Which is bizarre, as he was purely put in for comic relief at first.

The show was really slow in finding it's feet early on, despite some great episodes in the first series of the revival. In many ways, I preferred Christopher Eccleston's Doctor to David Tennant's, despite him being less "Doctor-ish". I would have loved for the Ninth Doctor to have had another, better-written series, a real shame it never happened.

Agreed, though I didn't really like Mickey all that much.

Imagine Doomsday with the Ninth Doctor. I can imagine it as being even more emotional than with the Tenth Doctor. And Doomsday is one of the most emotional/sad episodes in the new series.

Eccleston is still my favourite NewDoctor, even if his episodes were among the weakest.
I can only imagine how he'd have handled the entire River saga. Probably smiled then slapped someone. As for Mickey, when he wasn't around Rose, he was alright. Less looking for affection/jealous of the Doctor.

edit: Didn't read the spoilers, but those promo pics raise a lot of questions (Whoa, Rory.) that in no way can be answered in two episodes. No way. Even with Moffatt levels of wimey.

That last pic was the one that really made me go WTF!?

Winston Churchill talking to a bearded, toga-wearing Doctor!

I know time is distorted, pterodactyls and all that, but I wonder if that is that the ganger maybe?

BatDan

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
My prediction of what the
eyepatches
are.

They have a picture of The Silence inside them. That way they'll never forget what they look like.

SpeedingUptoStop

will totally Facebook friend you! *giggle* *LOL*
I've always thought the end of the original Silents story was a little funny. Like, how did they remember they went through with their plan?

I always imagine they walked into the TARDIS, closed the door, then promptly ran back out to execute the plan again. :lol

Holy shit. Moff may actually pull off this season if the finale is as epic as those photos.
Jesus Doctor? wtf? lol

Hmm... interesting theory.
Although, when you have something that close to your eye, do you really see it?

In an odd development, Ian Levine has paid for a reconstruction of Shada:

Isn't there a full Flash version of this? I'd love to see them just redo the story in new Who.
