I'll give non-spoiler impressions.

This thread feels... precarious. Like it's on the verge of oblivion.
NO SPOILERS PLS.
Okay, "Blink" was fucking terrific.
It really is. Watched it myself the other day for the first time in a while. I think Moffat is at his most creative when he has limits to what he's allowed to do.
I really hope the weeping angels are in future episodes.

Like a boss.
Won't tell, but it was so good. The only thing that fucked it up a little bit wee these two fangirls who kept screaming during the BBC America show previews.
lol
Have they ever had a DeLorean in Who proper?

Doctor Who has been good with knowing when it's created great monsters, and bringing them back.
Except The Slitheen and The Silurian
Sontarans
Daleks
Cybermen
Silence
Angels
Ood
Judoon
Weevils
Have all been good but the rest are pretty weak unless they are 1 shot "monster of the week" stuff.
DW has done a really good job at bring the old series race's back.
All the bolded ones were introduced in the new series. The Weevils haven't even shown up on Doctor Who, just Torchwood.
The aliens from the old series are the Daleks, Cybermen, Macra, Sontarans, and Silurians. If you count the minotaur from The God Complex then the Nimon as well, and the Time Lords and Master.
Good Stuff
Just got back now.
First of all.
DO NOT READ ANY SPOILERS. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER ASKING ANY HINTS ABOUT SPOILERS. SOMEONE BEING SPOILED WILL MAKE ME VERY, VERY SAD
With that said, it was brilliant IMO. Top Tier Moffat. Absolutely loved how the episode came together. I think this will easily be on the top of a lot of people's premiere episode lists. Such a good Dalek episode too.
There are some big, BIG surprises. I'm honestly surprised that they've been kept secret since the BFI screening. After the episode aired we received a personal plea from Moffat (via recorded video from what looked like a webcam) to not spoil this episode. He's right. He's absolutely right. Go in clean please. I really hope nobody goes running their mouths from the Toronto or New York screenings tonight.
DOCTOR WHO!!!!
After the episode we were given a live feed of Karen and Matt being interviewed live from the New York City screening. The above pic with the DeLorean was taken from that screening. "Time Lips", Peter Sellers playing the Doctor and Fanny/Bum packs were some of the highlights from that long interview. Very good stuff.
Did it feel like a Moffat episode (in the sense of Dark fairytale stuff) or was it more like a Good RTD dalek episode.
But its easy for you to say avoid spoilers-you got to see it early!!!
I know, I know.
You would be doing yourself an incredible disservice if you spoiled this for yourself. I'm hoping everyone in the screenings tonight take Moffat's impassioned plea not to spoil this particular episode. It's a big deal.
And yes, I'm a horrible Time Lord to come in here and dangle future events in your face.
TIME CAN BE REWRITTEN.
Apparently it was a huge deal for Space to get this episode to Canada. BBC was very protective about the episode and was only going to do the NY screening at first. The episode only arrived today and they opened it up not to long before they aired it. The people from Space weren't even allowed to watch it until the episode was show to us.
It was handy having one of the big producers from Space sitting right next to me.
DoctorWho, truly a BOSS.
Probably a good thing for me to wait a week.

Fan Expo, as well?
If so, are they doing another showing tomorrow?
Only one question: Does it clearly set up a season long arc or is it a legitimate standalone?
I demand to know spoilers.
