Good LORD we're fucked....I mean holy shit!

^^^^ Yeah agreed Kirye. I'm in NJ; as much shit as we get for being in NJ, we at least have relatively good heads on our shoulders.

Let's talk about that after we get Christie out of office, yeah?

That was going to be the one positive I could think of and not even Trump wanted him.

That is the key tactic that Democrats don't do enough of: blame everything on the Republicans. AND THE IRONIC PART IS THEY SHOULD BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T BE A LIE. The Democrats have to sink lower than these rat fink fuckers. It's the only way.

The Democracts also need to understand that its either Democrats or Republicans and vote accordingly. When one side realizes "fuck we cant let the other team win no matter who is on the ticket" just because they identify Republican they have a higher chance of winning against the other party that basically doesnt give a shit unless they are in love with the candidate (you know, as hinted at by the people in this thread saying we fucked up by not nominating Bernie, guy lost the primary, suck it up and vote for the party especially in this fucking election where a Republican win means everything Bernie was against coming true). Seriously, its like people just cant think things through and rather protest vote or not vote at all because their chosen knight in shining armor is not the top of the ticket when the most important thing should be "the choice is either a party that stands at the exact opposite of what I believe in or support and a party that is much more aligned or fully aligned with what I want" and vote accordingly. Its those voters I am the 2nd most upset about, the first being the racist/sexist/bigoted assholes who vote in someone flirting with white nationalism.

Has the world done this to China yet, cause damn, the air is nasty over there.

America has like more than 2x carbon footprint per capita than China tho

Unless you don't consider a Chinese person as equal to an American because if it's by scale, a lot of nations with lower populations than America has a reason to cry foul then.

I heard on NPR that the Trump team sent out a questionnaire to everyone in the Department of Energy asking who had attended climate summits or supported climate iniatives. Are they literally going to remove everyone who acknowledges climate change from the government? This is insane.

I mean, he needs to be taken out. Not as crazy as it sounds, really.

Yeah.

As I recall there was a two-day story back in the summer about Trump planning to purge lower-level Obama appointees from government, so all according to plan?

Holy fuck, no.

Well, our system is about voting in the lesser of 2 evils. It's just the way it is currently. So, that's what we have to deal with. I was a staunch Bernie supported but you better damn well believe I voted for Clinton and all down ballot democrats, as well, on election day.

I can't find an article for this - source?

Perhaps our reaction is premature and Trump will not do anything about the current climate agreement. One can wish. If and when he decides to make huge negative changes, the rest of the world needs to step up and condemn the US their actions, either by putting up negative exchange courses or fining them when not meeting their needed requirements. But such a thing will probably never happen. The US has always been the biggest of the group and they'll just 'shrug' it off like everything else they done in the past. It's a shame. Everything positive that Obama has build up, will probably get decimated in the upcoming 4 years of Trump. Absolutely terrible news.

To be honest? I don't think outside influence will do shit unless everyone pushes Trump hard at once. I mean, when Harper walked away from the Kyoto agreement, no amount of naysaying internally nor externally got anywhere with his lack of belief in climate change.
