I can't wait.
Could we have two consecutive game of the years be platformers?
As long as the Pope can keep his mouth away from that Kojidick.

Bananza, definitely "looks" better, but I'm afraid the wrecking mechanic will overshadow the platforming gameplay. Still looks like the best Nintendo exclusive in yearsI'm someone who absolutely loved Odyssey and I can safely say Bananza looks 100 times better.
Why would it? The destruction mechanic is part DKB's core platforming mechanic.Bananza, definitely "looks" better, but I'm afraid the wrecking mechanic will overshadow the platforming gameplay. Still looks like the best Nintendo exclusive in years
Visually?I'm someone who absolutely loved Odyssey and I can safely say Bananza looks 100 times better.
For me yes, characters here is way more expressive and environments have foliage and details compared to Odyssey.Visually?
Visually Odyssey on Switch 2 looks almost the same to me.For me yes, characters here is way more expressive and environments have foliage and details compared to Odyssey.
WOAH, some leaks of certain aspects of the story that are very spoilery coming out now
Fot this type of game, spoiler does not matter. Its a platform game that focus on fun just like astrobot.WOAH, some leaks of certain aspects of the story that are very spoilery coming out now
I definitely disagree with that. To me, spoling levels/level design and surprising mechanics is way worse than any story details.Fot this type of game, spoiler does not matter. Its a platform game that focus on fun just like astrobot.
I agree ,spoiling level design and stage is not good. Story being spoiled for this type of game is negligible since this is not a RPG, or a story driven game like RE, Silent hill, or Death stranding.Welp, time to avoid YouTube I guess. It's so close and I've pre-ordered it anyway. Would suck to get spoiled now.

I'd have loved to see the
for the first time when actually playing the game.Stickerbrush Symphony 2D level, with the included remade music,
Holy shit saw some spoilers and hype is through the roof

Oh no, not a Switch 1 game. Those were all terrible.
Pre-ordered along with the new amiibo.
Are
Are they telling us that a first-gen game for a new console was originally in development for the previous generation‽
Surely this is something that has never happened before. Nintendoomed
Spoilers for a DK game? Seriously?Spoilers in the wild? So it is time to "unwatch" this thread, huh, you never know...
It's extremely common to have games start development for a platform and then finish it in another. in fact, Nintendo does it all the time - the difference is that normally they release crossgen versions (like with Zelda) but they decided not to this time, I guess so they could optimize it for Switch 2Far from the end of the world or anything, but it just would have been nice if this had been built from the ground up for the hardware. MKW was meant for Switch at first too, and you can tell. Same with Donkey, visually I expected more.
It isn't exclusive to Nintendo or anything, I was disappointed when Xbox Series and PS5 barely had any first party games that made full use of its hardware. So with that said, i wonder when we'll see a game that is fully built for S2.
Nintendo isn't monkeying around anymore. This game is making Switch 2 fans go apeshit.

Let me remind you The Last Guardian, one of most technical demanding game on PS4 started out as PS3 game then later on decided to make it for PS4.Far from the end of the world or anything, but it just would have been nice if this had been built from the ground up for the hardware. Would youy say they are... kind of... cranky? You guys have way more enthusiasm than the Coin Return forum. They are kind of crabby.
It doesn't matter much to me as long as it's fun, but I get what you're saying. Nintendo really isn't known for throwing weight behind technical showcases these days.Far from the end of the world or anything, but it just would have been nice if this had been built from the ground up for the hardware. I'm trying to avoid any spoilers but happy to hear it's, supposedly, a meaty adventure. This game, man Nintendo held so much on information even with 15 mins direct

Will be interesting to see reviewers on Wednesday dance around all the spoilers but still try to convey the hype
Why wouldn't people be excited for the new game from arguably the best team in the industry? Nintendo Tokyo is like the seal team 6 of game makers.
hot take: Nintendo should have delayed Switch 2 so this is the launch game.
