Dutch outlet Power Unlimited just arrived at my home and there's a DK review in it. 96/100, pretty much saying DK has finally surpassed Mario. Hope its a good indication of things to come! It mentions that after Bananza, the new 3D Mario can only disappoint because there's nothing like this game. Good luck to the 3D Mario team because this is a review from an absolute Nintendo vet.

This is why I get 90% of games from my local EBgames, easy to pre-order and and my house is close enough that I can just walk there to pick up my copy.

That's some pretty sky high praise from Power Unlimited. I'm glad I lived long enough to see the day. We'll maybe, I could slip on banana scented soap, hit my head on a faucet and never return to this world. Hopefully my kids would play the game at my funeral.

3D Mario odyssey director went to become a producer so he's probably got groups of peoples now. Director of Donkey Kong is new guy from 2020, ex Sega/Square enix.

Looks like the game using double buffer just like the zelda games so when it drops it drops hard.

I just preodered the physical game, and the amiibo. I still have not beaten Bravely Default I got at Switch 2 launch, but maybe I just have to drop it in order to play this immediately. The game looks extremely promising.

I'm more excited for this game than just about any game this year besides GoY. Preorderd at BB with the amiibo as well. Can't wait to pick it up on Thursday morning. Right now I've been replaying Odyssey in 4k from scratch, deleted my save and all and trying to finish it before DK releases. DK being my favorite Nintendo Franchise but with an open world Odyssey flair makes it one of the perfect mashups ever. Can't wait especially to see how it looks on a big screen OLED.
