I take it the minimum AMD gpu equivalent would be an R9 Nano?
Looks like I better start building this new PC fast.
You could just get an Nvidia GPU, like 80% of other gamers...

another steam launch tweak

Have you reached the foundry level? I've just got there and my performance has gone from super smooth to shit the bed poor. Feels like 30fps.
Wtf
Do I just use a comma or is a blank enough? I have the skipintro command line in there already.
Do you guys keep Vertical Sync on?
Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but anywhere have a code for purchase at a good price? I heard CD Keys, but is the codes they sell Steam redeemable? Any other outlets that have it for a good price and redeemable on Steam?
out of all AA options given by the game which one is the better one?

How do you think this would play on a HD 7970? My 780 shit the bed, can't find any good benchmarks online for high/medium performance for the 7970. So, ps4 or PC? Bearing in mind I'd prefer m/KB.
Oh and CPU is 3570k.

Even if it means you have to turn a lot of settings down (I doubt it), get the PC version if you prefer kb/m. This game is glorious on kb/m, it plays so well - you can be so quick, agile and accurate with it, that I feel if you do prefer kb/m and you don't play it that way, then it'd be a great shame.
Just purchased from cdkeys, thanks ya'll.AFAIK the 280x is just the 7970 rebranded so you'd be better looking for that. In terms of how it runs I think it'd do reasonably well. Mediumish settings at least, quite possibly mostly high.
So, a friend gifted me a copy of the game and I downloaded the latest Nvidia game-ready driver. what settings do you reckon I should run the game on competently with this setup?
GPU: GeForce GTX 680
CPU: Intel Core i7-3930K CPU @ 3.20GHz
Memory: 16GB RAM
Monitor: BenQ 1920x1080, 60Hz
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
I have a sneaking suspicion this game is going to tank my system baaaaad!
So I want to buy this tomorrow, but I have a r9 390 and im worried about performance issues. Ontop of that I don't want to pay 79.99$ for the ps4 version when the pc version is available for 49.99$. what am I to do?
PC version on CD keys?
Also, a 390 soon enough with Vulkan or proper settings (i.e. medium) / and AMD driver will blow the console version out of the water. It is not even a choice.
We have an almost identical set up!
Let me know how you get on please? Had a quick play around the day of release but won't be touching the game properly until after my exams.

Take a look (8 TSAA(8TX) Sharpness 4 should be the best)!
Cool, going with 8 TSAA (8TX)!TSSAA with sharpening adjustments to suit your taste seems to be the best for me.
Obviously DSR is going to be the /best/ option, but I doubt anyone has the horsepower to maintain super high framerates and downsample from 4k or something.
I just had a weird issue - died and left it at the loading screen as i stepped away for 15 minutes or so, when i came back the game was running at 20fps. Was getting around 90 before..

"Tip: do not force triple buffering/or vsync on your fav IHV driver panel, such overrides engine functionality / affect perf negatively"
Man, the more I see of this game, the more I want to play it. But I'm not sure my GTX 680 is up to the task, especially at 1440p (thoughts?). On the plus side, I've got G-sync to help smooth it out under 60.
Are there any settings that are known to impact performance more, the ones to turn down first to get some fps back?
Are the performance metrics bugged? My CPU is going all over the place and the game is constantly telling me I am CPU limited but I am getting a solid 90-120fps maxed out, makes no sense.
Is it sure that G-Sync works with DOOM? Because FreeSync doesn't. =((((((((
I imagine everyone is CPU limited if they are going for 120 hz... any pc almost. Then your cpu is limiting the frame rate to 90-120fps.

The app still has the section_type = ownersonly flag applied, which limits the public display of community activity.
Any impressions with a 980TI/6700K playing at 2560X1440?
Stay away from the PC version if you're on AMD.

Yup, I waited for Mantle and 1.04_1.05 in BF4 and DS3 respectively. Dips to 20s in beta was a sign of trouble.Vulcan isn't far out though for AMD people.
