I assume Gamepass wont be getting the update.
Yeah, this is a game you'll revisit in 4-6 years just to see how it performs on your new hardware. This is exciting....until you realize you need at least a 4090 to do it justice.
Yes. The sky is also blue, and so is water. More news at 4pmEven with a 5090 the framerate will take a major hit
60fps>path tracing. You heard it here first.

4000 series are crying right now hahahahaYes. The sky is also blue, and so is water. More news at 4pm
well you are looking at compressed youtube feedIt doesn't seem like there is a huge difference but I will try it anyway
How so? I get 70fps avg with path tracing in CP2077 on a 4080. Just at 1440p.4000 series are crying right now hahahaha

The PT implementatipon on the other IdTEch8 game, Indiana Jones, was mostly garbage that couldn`t hold a candle to the, at this point ancient, implementation in CP2077, so my expectations are somewhat muted.
Water is blue? The sky is also blue, and so is water
Pure water has a very slight blue tint due to its molecular structure. This is not because it reflects the sky (a common misconception), but because water absorbs longer wavelengths of light (like red, orange, and yellow) more efficiently than shorter blue wavelengths. As a result, blue light is scattered and transmitted more, making large volumes of water appear blue.Water is blue?![]()

I'm looking at the Mediterranean sea right now, and it looks very blue to me.Water load of bollocks
Aw, you should try and cheer it upI'm looking at the Mediterranean sea right now, and it looks very blue to me.
I'd sub to GP for a month then buy on sale at a later date tbh.Time to buy it on Steam then I guess.
PT looks a lot better than the mediocre RT implementation in that game, but it's still massively uneven looking imo. Especially character rendering, but there are some genuinely very flat looking areas visually. I'm playing it with full maxed out PT too. What? Indy's path tracing implementation was probably the most transformative implementation of path tracing we've seen yet. Went from being a mid looking game to being one of the best looking games available.
I wonder if it will run better than we think. The RT in Dark Ages runs better than Witcher 3 in my experience so far. This is exciting....until you realize you need at least a 4090 to do it justice.
But no comment that water isn't wet, but makes things wet?Pure water has a very slight blue tint due to its molecular structure. You'll be done with it in under a week. Took me 13 hours to finish.
Good game though.
Its a good game but not worth the frankly ridiculous price MS are asking for it.Yeh just seen on gg.deals that it's still pretty much full price everywhere that's selling a steam key.
I already tried it on gamepass at launch and then refunded the sub after a week, just wanted to see whether or not I liked the new mechanics enough to buy when the path tracing patch dropped.
why not just 1 month of gamepass? that's way cheaper than 50 quidIts a good game but not worth the frankly ridiculous price MS are asking for it.
I picked it up off CDKeys for £50. Its worth that, just about.
Hopefully they can patch your begging out of the thread while they are at it.Can they patch in something that will actually improve the game, like maybe patch the sense of humor back in? Or the linear levels? Or Patch out the giant-robot/dragon sections?
Well no, of course not, it's just a subscription; the game itself will be getting the update though.I assume Gamepass wont be getting the update.
I don't do gamepass. I let my sub lapse earlier this year. It's not for me.why not just 1 month of gamepass? that's way cheaper than 50 quid
