Thanks for the answer, it would be broken otherwise.
I think you can't look at pets the same way you look at HUDs or cursors, one is a game gimmick with animation and can be distracting, and even if you don't like it you have no control over other people that want to have them by their side, the other is just the game UI.

Had a 70 minute game on Brood where I basically fed for the first half of the game and the second half after they got our mid racks was both teams suiciding down mid in turns until we decided to instead just take their other racks

6.82. Lina is more fun when you have items (euls, aghs) so she's way more fun to play as a core.
