Nothing beats Illidan:

I know I've brought him up before but I just cannot understand how people can think he looks cool. The yoga pants + naked torso combo, the anime hair, the blindfold, the glowy tattoos, the pair of massive elf ears...

You don't deserve to hide this behind a spoiler tag.

I was looking at that reddit thread about money spent ingame and it got me curious to see how much I had spent on hats in this game and it came to 180$.

Which I don't feel too bad about considering I have 2k hours, its spread out over years and its one of the only games I devote time to.

But then I saw this:

How can you spend so much? I didn't even think there were that many hats in the game to spend that much on.

Edit: reddit thread I'm talking about: http://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/392qev/i_wish_i_wasnt_told_how_to_find_out_how_much_ive/

That's a huge time commitment to flipping items for a few cents margin in order to have a reasonable cash flow.

theoretically the initial hurdles can be bypassed by investing a lot of cash into it, but then you'll always be at a loss in the "real money" department.

how is that even possible

I've spent about 44€, which comes down to three TI compendiums and a handful of sets spread out over almost three years. Sounds about right.

He plays in color blind mode though and it's literally the worst.

And tfw LightofHeaven is the only decent stream on and it's all in Russian :(

color blind is for people who want to feel like a special snowflake
and colorblind people too I guess
"look radiant is blue instead of green"
woah

daily reminder that EE is a sucka

I'd say he's pretty good as is.

Not that I'd complain about a buff!

never picked in competitive though. And I mean, thats also your personal experience with him. I have an 80% wr on dp over 42 games, but its not representative of her state.

LD is cancer just like every other hero. Please no buffs.

Indicative of your lame-ass MMR, more like

Earthshaker might be my new favorite hero. Team feed for the first 10 mins like nobodies business. Earthshaker to the rescue and kept people from making dumb decision with fissure. had to literally tell everyone what to do.

Terrorblade tier shit hero

Also, my favorite Hearthstone class is Shaman, and my favorite HotS hero is Jania

Haters gonna hate

I play him like a support. On the other hand, I play everything like a support.

The nerfs have made him a little lacklustre but the aura still does a lot of work plus he's great at killing pushes. I build a bunch of cheap support items (urn, vlad's, whatever) and just make sure to provide the team with constant roaming vision and stick the spirit on whatever the big hitters on the team want to strike. Stomp is a good set-up assuming your team isn't completely clueless.

Had him on my ten hero challenge and won pretty quickly. Reminded me I wanted to play him more when I get the chance. I'm currently stuck on Sven.

I wish there was an option to ALWAYS mute everybody and disable all chat, without having to do it after starting the game

I avoid flaming but when someone gets me going by doing stupid shit or being stupid in general (gg od no gank, 6 minutes in) I just can't help trashtalking the hell out of them.
Still have 3 lpq games to do. People are so fucking stupid there it's unbelievable. Wonder if there's skill bracket in lpq.

On a positive note compendium challenges also work in LPQ. Considering 50% of the games are free wins because there's always somebody that decides to feed couriers 5 minutes in it's ok.

You have spent approximately $70.31 USD in the game after this card set was released.

ok whew, i was starting to feel extremely guilty about this after the collectors cache

though, it probably doesn't count market purchases, huh..

Valve's art direction is far superior to blizzard's - that you can almost overlook the polygonal/texture detail in the actual models.

Its funny because blizzard was once known for their art...

It comes up whenever people compare SC2 to SC1 or Diablo 3 to Diablo 1+2, the Blizzard of today is a totally different company than the Blizzard of that era

Maybe it isn't fair to single out Blizzard, though, since most game art design is somewhat generic. Even most fantasy art/concept art looks so similar nowadays, I wonder if its due to how focused the art is on computers or if an entire generation grew up with the same aesthetic. Valve actually does a really good job with TF2 and DOTA in terms of making an interesting and cohesive visual style.

Disruptor was offline half of the game
We held for a long time and if AM didn't play like a fucking idiot we would have come back, we took every fight mid/late but you can't def 2v5
