for real, its probably one of the two main reasons
the second one is that the swedish "FCC" (not a fcc at all, but in the context it works), decided to privatize the telephone network, and then by law force them to let other companies rent/use the "telephone/fiber/etc" lines/network for a "fair" price (i.e. calculated by economic formulas).
So, we got cheap computers, and relatively cheap fast internet, i.e. fast internet for cheaper prices that the rest of the world.
infrastructure leads to a natural monopoly extremely often, but the government network didnt work either, therefore there was a middle ground solution
Sweden is often seen as a "socialist" country, in reality, we're an extremely market liberal country (much more than the US in terms of free trade, at least from what I know, and I know quite a bit), with a really extensive social safety net. In my opinion it has served us really well, left no one in poverty, but given us companies like skype/spotify/etc (risk of entrepreneurship becomes a lot of lower when the downside is that you have to live on welfare, which is still possible to live on in Sweden).
oh, another additional point, this means that the previous gov. monopoly needs to compete on value added propositions (which they do very well in the mobile market, and with probably the best peering/routing network in the world, competitiors often choose inferior ww networks for a cheaper price, there is a quality diff. which makes it still fair)
after the 90s banking crisis, both sides, the left and the right, were super serious about trying pragmatic solutions, even though im a swedish rightist (which would in many ways resemble a bleeding heart liberal in the us), i acknowledge that the swedish left has very little in common with the rest of the european left (except the nordic). There is a strong tradition of pragmatism wherever you look, so to say, for the left its nothing about being less capitalist, but about more redistribution.
while many people circlejerk about sweden, very few people understand what makes the nordics unique, we really have super market-oriented solutions, but we still have the most redistribution, leading to the lowest inequality. I would guess this is what makes us happy.
The reason I think this is important in this context is that we're not the best on many esport titles in a vacuum, but we give an opportunity for everyone to flourish, or at the very least try.

So I played my first ever game of QoP today, offlane, and went 12/0/11, mostly because the other team was super squishy and had basically no lockdown. I'm curious, though, what's a good build for snowballing out of control on QoP? I went bottle/treads/orchid/BKB to be on the safe side. Should I replace the BKB with an Aghs? Maybe Deso and right click?

It has most of the same balance issues that LoL does though(kiting being OP, the upgraded items being too slot/gold efficient meaning the game snowballs harder).
It is technically super impressive and make's riot's coders look like the incompetent fools they are, but I don't think I'll put much time into ranked matches. I could think of worse ways to spend 20 minutes though.

Nor me. I think the Heroes Within music pack is actually my favourite; there's a synth-y battle music that I particularly like.
