Also, played an Elder Titan game with my friend the other night. That is to say, my friend played Elder Titan. We won, but he didn't make a massive impact - more of an occasional contribution in team fights with his ult. I think the trick to playing him eft effectively would be to get something like a shadow blade/blink dagger so you can stomp effectively, allowing the rest of your team to catch up and prepare ults. I can't see any other use for him really.
Considering that you can use your ancestral spirit to stomp, I'd think that blink is not as needed as it is for other initiators especially with stomp being a channeled ability as your spirit can't be stunned out of it while you can.
Shadow blade wouldn't help with that either because the invis would break the second you start the channeling, as opposed to stuff like Requiem of Souls or NP TP where you stay invis during the legthy casting animation.

No seriously, the move speed bonus on PL's escape needs a nerf. It makes him impossible to kill even with detection. We dusted him, slowed him with a TA trap, and he still ran away fast enough to escape the dust duration and go invis again

Mouz seems like they're improving a fair deal after the Synderen acquisition. Maybe there's some uses having an experienced carry/semi-carry player on one of your farmed supports.

Mouz played well today with Synderen. The problem with Liquid is that their hero pool is just too large. They're all so good and play so many heroes that you can't get even the slightest advantage in the draft, besides their actual gameplay being nearly always impeccable. Just really, really tough to deal with. Definitely on par (if not slightly worse than) NTH/Alliance at the moment. I don't think they've matched up against each other recently though, so it's hard to say for sure who would come out on top.

Especially when they pick up such versatile heroes most of the time and you can't even get a leg up on laning because they'll do something unconventional like the Dark Seer tri-lane we saw today.

ixmike is probably the most limited one, but are you really going to ban SD in the first two? Probably not. And you're not going to spend a first pick on him, so unless you have second pick and grab him along with someone else, they're going to have one of their most potent heroes nearly every game because I'm pretty sure they always get SD by the second pick.

They threw the game at fourth Rosh sadly.

And yeah, that fight was bad. Completely split between the ledge there and by themselves the supports were easy pickings.

I definitely agree, CF. I may be giving kudos to Mouz for having some flexibility with Synd in the roster, but Liquid just has it in metric shittons with the players they've brought together. Maybe that sort of team attribute will become more and more lucrative in the game's future, where players who have a fair amount of experience with farm-intensive heroes can make support players sing.

Battlefurry and Crystalis on nyx? Wat..
Yeah, afaik crit hit doesn't stack with Vendetta hit. Probably the best choice for a damage item on Nyx would be either an Abyssal Blade or a Monkey King Bar (highest +damage items in the shop that aren't Rapier). What's even more advantageous is that both those items build up from Javelin, so you can be flexible in choosing.

Does the Vendetta hit work with cleave?

It's 15%, second slowest to BH which is 0, if you don't count 1 wex invoker i guess. It doesn't need a nerf, nothing about him needs a nerf.

Maybe his magic defense? The hero isn't that scary until late game, but i find it a bit silly that an hero that logically should be countered by big aoes actually shrugs them off like they're nothing.

I tried Beastmaster for the first time today. I didn't build it, but what does people think about Refresher on him?

Awesome idea if you are 5v5ing and you can pull off a double ult. might be able to do 2 axes and 2 ults if you do it right
