Why would you even want to smurf in this game? Just to beat up on the kiddies?

Yes. And to play without being muted.

God I love the new Huskar. The best part was when they piled up all 5 on me, And I took 2 down with me and the others were low enough for my team to wipe them all out. And I don't even lose gold! Huskar farms heroes, not creeps :)

This game has too much RNG. I'm surprising that Valve/fraud loves RNG so much since in it's so anti-competitive.

Even right clicks damage are RNG based....
Some spells should be updated to use the Pseudo Random distribution like in Dota1, I belive that the bear's root used it on wc3 dota.

It's really not that bad, there's even a strategy with RNG type stuff usually (for instance, on bashes you need attack speed so you have more chances to get them).

Everyone (including myself) will complain about bullshit first-hit bashes/entangles/whatever, but at the end of the day these are things that make certain heroes good.

And more fun/exciting to watch and play.

just had a game where they got two racks, were 5 levels above our highest and were fully farmed by 25 mins.

The match ended at 50 mins.

To anyone who says that one comeback justifies all the shit gettign throw around by the thousands of pudge fountain campers, snipers and the like, get bent, concede needs to exhist, it is simply infuriating knowing you can't bloody leave the game without being on a low priority queue just by admiting the game is lost beyond repair.

But then it's not the ability that makes them good, it's luck. Luck making a hero good does not a good hero make.

Pissed me off so much in WoW PVP and it's annoys me here. It's not as bad as WoW, though. Just last game my counter Helix didn't go off an entire fight even though I had to have gotten hit at least 20 times. Enemy Ogre Magi got a quad-cast two times one fight, zero the next. Guess which fight we lost.

It makes for excitement, but doesn't make for a competitive game. Not to say that Dota 2 isn't competitive, but RNG knocks it down.

I don't know why a concede option doesn't exist.

League has more.

Because they all play the same.

Valve doesnt like it. They even changed CSGO comp matchmaking to have harsh leaver penalties and concedes available only if someone abandons

People think LPQ is bad, in GO you can get banned from comp matchmaking for up to twi weeks for leaving and if an overwatch finds you guilty of trolling its even more than that. Cant do that in Dota though because theres only one mode

I think the RNG is fine. I used to play a lot of Broodwar and you know what was RNG as fuck? Those goddamn Reaver scarabs.

RNG is interesting to me in these kinds of games.

It's super interesting, but if I were any good at this game I think I'd be annoyed by it. I know I was in WoW when I was 2v2ing with my friend trying to get to the top 10% on the server.

World of Warcraft Arena was balanced for 5 vs 5
"Balanced". :p

Game was so imbalanced up until the latest expansion, where I've heard it's gotten better. Druid/Warrior 2v2, 5 man Elemental Shaman 5v5, Mage/Rogue/Priest 3v3.

Vanilla was so imbalanced it was funny, but the imbalance made it fun.

Scarabs just had shit AI and pathing, there was nothing random about that. Good players knew what kind of shots would cause the AI to bug out and took that into consideration when targeting. The only real random aspect of Brood War was uphill miss chance.

So err... Outworld Devourer... Is pretty... insane....

I was mid against drow and just kept using my trap thing to harass, for some reason she was never in lane and tried ganking at like 2 minutes but failed each time. Anyway, long story short I got major farm and feed, got a lot of nice items and helping dominate team fights. The ult is insane!!

I almost killed their entire team one hit in their spawn :|

How good are we talking? Because I played for many years on Iccup and that shit was definitely NOT predictable. Sometimes it'd bug out on a clump of drones, sometimes it'd blow up and kill them, sometimes it'd only knock a few out.

Shit pathing and AI = random explosions

I mean like Bisu or Stork. You would run into problems when you got too greedy and targeted the worker in the middle of a giant clump, then when your opponent ran the workers to his other base the scarab couldn't find it's way to it's target because it was now blocked by the 20 other workers.

You're right in that sometimes the scarab just bugs the hell out and there's nothing you can do, but the really good pros knew how to take the high percentage shot to kill 3-5 workers rather than roll the dice and try to kill 8 or 9.

If they had 2 racks why not let the Mega's finish?

Do the keys ever go on sale? Like 5 packs or something?

Never. They're the backbone of the TF2/Dota economies. If they ever went on sale, the entire Valveconomy would collapse overnight.

Your best bet is to buy them for a few cents cheaper off the Steam marketplace.

Man, I wonder what's up with the servers. Played a match earlier today, and suddenly the entire enemy team — who had been stomping our guts out — disconnected.

It also didn't help that at least three of my teammates were clearly not from America, even though I only have U.S. West Coast and English as my region/language options selected. They were speaking Spanish and they all complained about having 300-500 ping, so I'm guessing they were from South America. I wonder if my opponents had the same deal.
