Self-made isn't referring to crafted items, it's the quality assigned to the copy of the item a workshop contributor receives once his/her creation is accepted.

What the are "soandso has received and item for viewing a multi-kill" or whatever messages that pop up sometimes? I'm trying to get into watching Dota and I really love the client, but man even just watching this game is overwhelming. When MLG is over I figure I should try to learn how to actually play the game.
