i think ember is pretty much the only reliable tb "counter." he's just generally really strong against illusion heroes as long as you go the superior battlefury build.

tb is pretty damn broken, he's pretty much a bottomless list of strengths with only two minor drawbacks: long cast times and short cast ranges.

Terrorblade is just so good early game compared to almost every other carry it's ridonculus. You can get kills so easily and push down towers like they're paper for almost no mana at anywhere from 2 to 10 mins.

what an insane game i jsut had. 70 mins. all we had was a weaver and a np, they had all carries. They took one barracks down, we took 2 winning a massive teamfight later. I told my team dont BB, Natures buys back and TP's in front of their ancient instead of top to take final racks, they kill him, 90 seconds, they just push and beat us. Man, that one mistake by nature threw the game when we had it practically won with a team that had no chance of winning it but we somehow managed to hold on for 70 mins.

These are the moments that remind me while i love Dota 2. Win or Lose, amazingly fun game.

Play some ability draft, you won't take it seriously since it's imba as fuck, but also fun as fuck.

Maybe join an inhouse, they're usualy less serious games and most people are on mumble, which leads to a very enjoyable experience.

Iirc Na`Vi first picked Timber, followed by Fnatic's AA+Rhasta into Dazzle+Clinkz for Na`Vi. Might have been the other way around with Fnatic picking first but Pudge and Omni definitely were Na`Vi's 4th and 5th picks.

Yeah I generally get Blink first, was just thinking about items after that. I think a part of my problem stems from not having the whole shift queue thing down pat. I feel that would make my SK play a lot better.

I assume the general sequence is channel ult --> shift queue blink --> blink in --> stun whoever? Atm I'm blinking in--> stun --> channel ult which at times leaves me open to being disrupted.

I think the combo you're aiming for is:

Channel Ult -> Shift Queue Blink -> (Blink) -> Burrowstrike -> Sandstorm

I typically don't shift-blink in because a) any slight error will cancel your ult b)often times the exact location I want to blink changes while I'm channeling c) I can blink pretty much immediately after the ult starts which reduces the benefit of queuing it up.
