I have a question out of curiosity.

Why has the player in the safe lane farming been regarded as the hard carry and the midlaner regarded as the "secondary carry".

The player in mid has solo exp + farm, while the safe laner is usually laning with a support that will sap a percentage of the exp.

Genuinely curious how this setup got started.

I believe it's because mid is more susceptible to ganks from supports. The midlaner typically values levels over items, whereas the hard carry values items first. So mid gets solo exp and safe lane is easier to get last hits.

That said, its not too uncommon for the main carry to be placed in mid these days. EG do that a lot as Arteezy is so good at farming and sensing ganks, and heroes like Naga are played mid but are definitely the 1 role.

safe lane does nothing but farm, so even though exp is reduced farm is more likely to be secured

mid is more dangerous and usually spends time ganking and fighting which can snowball, but farm isn't guaranteed

Could we have the dreamleague without Draskyl?

If Luna didn't buy an item that helps her, she wouldn't have done as well as she would have done.

That's some insight.

What he said was that the Reaver Silent had bought just before the fight made the difference between life and death which is absolutely worth pointing out

RTZ dominated mid with an Axe, is he the best mid right at this minute?

i think Arteezy have insanely good micro and he is having huge impact on a games he playing if his teammates giving him space . I believe if Arteezy going to focus hard on improving and respecting his enemies he will be for sure one of the best players in future . Only thing he lack right now in my opinion - is experience . But this is not a problem and will come in some time . As a player i like him a lot . But the music on his stream is horrible !

Well tbh Sing Sing isnt one of the best mids in the world so.. wanna see him play Dendi, s4, Mushi

He's a good player, a bit overated in my opinion. But defenitely okay to be in a top team! To say that he is one of the best solo mids etc is really exageration, he played like 10 games in a high level LAN, you need way more to compare him to Dendi, s4 or FATA

I'll stop now, it seemed too appropriate to pass up.

Sometimes I do think that SingSing's clowning around in pubs hurts him get better as a pro player

DK, Navi, & EG are in for Starladder LAN finals. I don't know if Alliance is in yet. That'll be where a lot of questions are answered (at least temporarily, real questions get answered at TI).

I dunno, you need some way to release tension, can't be super tryhard mode all the time. C9 have been scrimming a lot, and from reports by his current and former team-mates, Sing takes them super seriously. And other than mechanics there isn't much a pro at that level can learn from pubs.
