I agree, but how is Microsoft even trying to get to those folks. All three of those games, while successful, were successful on other platforms.
Just trying to figure out how they are pushing this game, more of a curiosity than anything else. I think I will enjoy it as I stated above but I am not the player they need for this type of game.
Keeper is clearly a author/Studio game. DF has already confirmed that it has two other larger projects (VS Keeper) in development.
In other words, it's a game that DF wanted to make and release, and MS simply gave them the green light, I suppose as a gesture toward the studio and its restlessness. I don't see anything wrong with that; on the contrary, it's something to celebrate that MS is encouraging so many projects of this type despite the fact that commercial success is difficult.
The game is also being released on PC, surely a PS5 future version.... I don't think much of a potential user base is being left behind.
