Well tbf pilaf is still a genius who can fix time machines

I've been thinking this for some time, that yardrats may not actually be from Goku's universe at all, and it took a yardrat of immense power/skill to teleport Goku back to Universe 7. Maybe the Yardrat in question possesses that degree of skill.
Goku's new form is so sick. He has an almost royal, ancient look to him, which is what I think they're going for. Love that deadly serious look. I don't envy whoever he targets with whatever insane power he'll have in that form.

Maybe the original Yardrats come from a different universe altogether and the ones in U7 migrated there at some point via teleportation.

As of now? I do, but I gotta make it clear that I love RoF outfits SSB Goku and Vegeta, as well as Vegito Blue. We have yet to see the new form in action and more artwork of it for me to have a better opinion on how it compares to Blue.
We haven't even seen the new form before we can judge people
I meant looks-wise, from what we're seeing right now, which do you prefer, I don't care about the powers lol

I would need to see if they do anything visually interesting with it first. SSG and Blue have done neat things with their aura color changes.
If the new form is buff goku with cat eyes, then the substandard artwork and animation aren't going to do it any favors.
We still need to see it outside of a preview pic
It's actually about many characters, several of which had things before Goku in the past.

I do like the style. Wonder if it'll be consistent with the other animators. Bit of a departure from the slimmer build Goku has had in contrast to Z.

Gohan's keeping his Ultimate form until he dies.
My understanding of Ultimate was that he intended that to scale to future forms Goku might get, or even surpass Goku and Vegeta. I don't think Ultimate is going away in the near future for Gohan.

Every team feels like it has one person who wasn't told they were entering a tournament deciding the fate of their universe.
Yeah GT, the movies, and the retelling's really made me start to fear this form was dead, so glad they've realised this form deserved more in Z, and it's finally being pushed now. Plus it just makes sense Gohan's potential will naturally increase the more he fights, and this form is his potential unlocked.

Gohan said he intends to achieve a new form that nobody has ever seen before, so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a new transformation alongside Goku, maybe even the same form, though I doubt that.

Just giving Goku another form like this (no specific training or inciting event) is getting tiresome. Just look at SSB, which was over the line for a lot of fans and was gained off-screen.
