When Kale or Goku Black don't make it in I'll be joining him.
The one that'll realistically piss me off is if Ultimate Gohan isn't in.
I want Caulifla, but I accept her and Kale won't be in the game, I doubt even in DLC, 17 has a way better chance.
I want Black, hopefully we get him in the base game.

They gave 18 a barrier.
17 is never getting in. DLC or not.
Ultimate Gohan is so weird in that I don't recall anything that really makes him stand out in terms of a moveset, and yet it'd feel so wrong if he didn't make it in.

They're never gonna bother making 17 stand alone because "18" isn't in the game.
This is 18/17, if they add 17 it makes her look terrible.
At absolute best, a gimped version of ToP 17 could make it as a costume for 18/17 that would make it 17/18, but he would still have to rely on the puppet mechanic even though he never fights with his sister.
I know some of you guys feel like a stand alone 17 is possible, but I don't. And for the record, not a single one of my certitude regarding the game has been wrong so far. (Keep in mind my wishes are not my certitudes)
I don't care anymore. They already fucked it up. The assist thing was bad but "okay", the fact he fights like a girl and his barrier is off centered to hell means they give no shit about him.
Geez, don't take it so personally...
1) Android 17 being an assist is not objectively bad.
2) How does 17 "fight like a girl"? Like, where are you getting any of this from?
3) Andriod 17's barrier in all probability will be centered properly, whatever that means. (not even 100% sure as to what you're referring to)

I see only one (edit: there are two) animation on 17 that is clearly copied over from 18 (based on the picture here). Will there be more copied?? Its very possible. But they are twins androids...not at all an atrocity IMO.

Could totally see it being Great Saiyaman though lol. But Ultimate Gohan is pretty popular so I doubt we'd have to worry.
Think Universe 3 is out next. Out of all the universes they haven't had the same level of screen time as the others, plus the others seem to have more prominent fighters.

The reason that happened was because the camera angle changed, it probably looks good from the regular battle perspective. They'll probably correct that in the end.

I'd have no issue with this lol. He looks cool in the tracksuit when he goes SSJ. I've also always preferred the aesthetics of SSJ over Ultimate/Mystic. But I really dont see a scenario where Ultimate Gohan doesn't make the roster. . .What if it's this Gohan?

I'm actually looking forward to Roshi fighting. And I think he could take Genos since Base Goku caused him to retreat fairly quickly (so it wouldn't be an asspull if Roshi could put in some work against him)
