I miss character themes. Is it really a Gohan episode without the music? Is mentioning Bruce a no-no here?

This is the worst arc ever in all of DB, counting TV Shows, Specials, Movies, Games, fanfics, etc.

Outside of "last time on Dragon Ball Super" and whatever usually plays at the climax the music for this series doesn't stand out to me in the slightest.
I wonder if that isn't the secret behind the two mysterious U4 fighters, maybe there're two fusions between them.

I gotta say, I do like that theme they use when Goku/Vegeta goes Super Saiyan Blue, but I kinda think they overuse it.

Not a chance. I'll admit that I have nostalgia for the Faulconer music, but it really doesn't fit well with Dragon Ball. Not to mention, the fact that the music is constantly blaring at all times with practically no pauses of silence...

No idea what it's called, but the theme that plays during the episode title in Buu's saga in DBZ will always be associated to Gohan in my mind, for whatever reason, I guess because they used it a few times with the Great Saiyaman.

Some of the Faulcnor music isn't bad by itself in a vacuum, but it really doesn't fit Dragon Ball whatsoever. Dragon Ball is supposed to be super wuxia (not the atmospheric sci-fi tunes Faulcnor made), and the soundtrack for the first two anime series is based on those old wuxia movies Dragon Ball has it's core in. GT's OST isn't too bad either but it's noticeable thematically when it threw away the wuxia influence in favor of something that makes you feel nostalgic for watching it, lol. LIke, "Remember when Goku was a kid?! Remember the search for the dragonballs?! Remember Freeza and Cell?! Remember Android 17?!"
In less than an hour you'll have to dock one of those names off.

I have 0 nostalgia for the English dub, and I think the Vegeta/Final Flash theme is legit great.

I can agree with that. That and the Super Saiyan 3 transformation during the buu arc felt more grandiose with Faulconer.

Falcouner's Gohan and Vegeta themes are fantastic.
Bruce's theme when Ultimate Gohan rolled in against Buu was amazing. Gohan's one of the only few people in that version who's themes were always amazing. Actually, most of the character themes are amazing from FUNi's version. Gohan's, Piccolo's, Trunks's, Vegeta obviously, the character themes were done justice.
You can also tell Faulconer took the series way too seriously and tried to make everything more atmospheric than it actually was. What's worse is that it was tonally inconsistent, cause one minute it'll be playing a serious tune to set the mood and as soon as Krillin or Mr. Satan says something funny it turns into Spongebob music. It's like wtf pick a tone.

You forgot to add "Up to this point" at the end. Still, Krillin wasn't completely useless since he did take out two people before getting knocked out. Give credit where it is due after all.
Still, we did have Tien and Master Roshi team up for that one guy, so there was that. Gohan and Piccolo I don't recall haven't done anything up to this point. In fact, I think Piccolo was about to get into a fight before that was interrupted by a roll-by.
He eliminated 1 guy, both Tien and Roshi have eliminated 1 as well.
