My girl Kakunsa crying </3 And oh man, loved how 17 played along with Ribrianne's thing with justice and love. Reminds me of Z's 17. Yardrat was also pretty darn cool. I'm in love with him too.

I was waiting for Hellzone Grenade to come back, one of my favorite Piccolo moves~ And loved the respect Obuni had for Gohan and viceversa. Gowasu and Rumsshi supporting Obuni was great too.

1. She's androgynous, an exceedingly rare trait among Japanese female character designs in general.
2. Her outfit isn't stupidly sexualized and also fits her general aesthetic. I particularly like how everything is slightly worn or ragged - again, a rare trait among Japanese female character designs.
3. Her three-tone color scheme isn't cancer to the eyes (somehow).
4. She has a scarf. Automatic cool points.
5. Bunnies.
It's Toei's fault she has no characterization whatsoever (outside of her reaction to being tossed out nonchalantly), but I like pretty much everything about her visual design.

Maybe the GP is using this as some kind of test or evaluation of the Angels themselves, with the whole tournament being just a side game or smokescreen as a means to that end.
Yeah lol, they really didn't think this through. They should have just kept going with Episodes 6-10 this week, but whatever, I'll take it.
Oh and where is U4? Are they just riding along for the time being? They didn't look like a threat to be honest.
I was about to say too... In fact, I had to go into the Wiki to remember who had eliminated Sorrel (let alone get her name). I thought she had carelessly jumped out of the ring, but apparently, it was 18 who knocked her out. In some regards, you can say that Krillin did more than Sorrel (let alone a good chunk of U9 the more I think about it).

You're asking the wrong person. I mean, even Carrot has megatits (mostly a fault of Oda's inability to draw decent-looking female characters, but still), so Sorrel's design is a huge breath of fresh air for me.

Yep. The way they handled her soured me on pretty much the entire rest of the tournament proper.
She is literally the reason (well, a contributing reason) why I want to see U7 lose the tournament.

As for the actual episode...i thought it kinda stunk until Gohan's fight. Goku's kill was nice though.
reused anims, and not enough narrative. You have to give a reason to care about the fights. Create a situation that makes us look forward to "Wow Hit is about to fight Dypso. This is really interesting match up because of ______"
The only narrative we really have that creates interest is just, X person is strong.
And is "he let his guard down" the mantra of this arc? even goku is getting tired of it.
