The game is looking fantastic as ever, but I can't help but shake the feeling that the steering looks a little too twitchy and not weight enough. Although I also guess I can't guage that from a video, so I'll have to wait and see. Still probably buying day one since I loved Motorstorm so I can trust Evo.

I think it adds a level of risk/reward. Would also make for some very tense races. Just imagine barrelling down a straight and not knowing when the turn is...do you play it safe and slow down or do you keep going and hope you hit the brakes in time nd don't lose multiple positions.
If we could find some good quality video I'd make some gifs. So far the streams and YT videos have been a bit rough.

Even though that is off-screen footage, you can see just how beautiful and realistic the rain and snow in DriveClub is going to look. DriveClub's physically based rendering engine + volumetric clouds + rain + snow = no other racing game compares, period.

I honestly can't wait to play this game, it's going to be great. I wish I could play both DC and Horizon 2 but since I do not own a Xbox One then there's no way. Either way, both will be different but a blast to play, I'm sure of it.
Days will be shorter soon and before we know it Autumn and Winter will arrive, then, playing Driveclub all warm with a nice cup of coffee or tea, after a long day will be amazing. Racing during the day or at night with rain and snow will be addicting. Can't wait.
Come on my good people, focus on the good things, it's all about having fun in the end!

every video I see is just someone plowing through the ass of a bunch of cars at each corner and getting away with it
The gradual build up to full on snow looks incredible.
Rushy also confirmed this is photomode.
The volumetric clouds look insanely good. The repeating texture on the lake is meh but those clouds! And the draw distance! Looks great.
Also all the cars plowing into each other in the turn lol... They're putting drivatars to shame in the aggressive cornering.

It's SP footage. There are penalties for it in MP. If done often, you will get a speed penalty. Other than that, it is an arcade racer so expectations should be set accordingly.

yes, fine, but there should be a deceleration penalty. Most arcade racers have this sorted, even simpler games like Outrun 2.

Norway video looks almost real, easily the best looking racer ever. I would kill to have GT7 with those graphics at 60fps.
