DRIVECLUB: 30 minutes of new Beta footage

Looks incredible...

As a PS4-only current-gen owner, I think this will be by corridor racer and GTA5 will be my open world racer :)

I played this at pax and it looked like shit

Wait that was wwe 2k15

Saw this earlier seems like new info but unsure how correct it is. Someone who's dutch wants to verify or ask Rushy.

No MT in Plus edition?
On whether you can unlock cars via micro transactions Brayshaw replied that that is not the case: "No, there is one simple upgrade rather small micro transactions, we want to keep it as simple as possible There are so many different cars and jobs.. the game and we do not want when buying players an extra job or car to see them than the next job to regain that they have to buy in order to play. With one upgrade is much simpler. "

PS Plus verison is said to be there to December.
In the same interview with IGN Benelux Community Manager says that Drive Club until Christmas will be available for PlayStation Plus users. Least free The game will appear 8 October and is also available free via PlayStation Plus.

Seeing MT made me think that manual transmission was exclusive to the full version. I was going to say that was an odd decision. But microtransactions aren't in the Plus version. Rushy said that those with the Plus version would receive any additional India tracks as well as any feature upgrades (like weather).

Ooh, outside of the racing-class cars on something like Nurburgring, I totally know what you mean. At least the nighttime tracks (like Special Stage Route 11) used lighting to try to give more of a sense of "zoom."

It's not really a fault of GT5/6 though, it's a fault of racing circuits.

I've driven a Ferrari F430 round Silverstone at full pelt and it's surprising how slow it can feel. Well, it's not surprising really given it's down to the parallax effect but a tight country road at 60mph will feel faster than 160mph at Slverstone.

I´m expecting more action in the review threads.

I imagine Driveclub will get middling reviews because it has no "gimmicks" regardless of anything else, and Horizon will get better reviews solely because some people think going open world is best regardless of anything else.

Yup. When journalists drive like this...not even being able to handle a straight road...there's no hope for really great reviews: http://kotaku.com/crashing-cars-on-race-tracks-next-gen-style-805871370

Also I know that's old footage, and no disrespect to Jason because he's awesome, but my gawd man.
