Holy crap the Lotus is fun to drive!

Also I'm finding the music volume to be too low. To be honest I feel like all the sound in the game is lower than it should be for some reason. I have to turn my sound system up higher than normal to get decent volume. Anyone else had this?

Yeah indeed, it's my favorite car so far!

Still, I hate drift challenges. I've been trying for half an hour now, can't get past this :(

My copy arrived today! Just played for an hour and a half and even though I absolutely suck at racing games I've been having a blast with the events.

I can't turn sharp corners for crap though, not sure what to do.

The last drift event with the Pagani is hard, got 2 times close but not good enough :)
The Lotus cars are a dream in my opinion, I have been doing some time trial laps on the Scotland racetrack and got close to 70k points with drifts and clean laps.

You need to brake before entering the corner, and let the gas off / be super gentle while turning the wheel.

this game is great with a wheel. I love the way the wheel loosens or tightens up depending on the tracks decline or incline.

Really fun game, can't wait to play this online.

I agree with both. I am at the "Best of British"
I think its called where u can use the Lotus for the first time and holy shit does it look amazing and a lot of fun to drive the Lotus.

The volume is definitely too low. I really have to crank up the volume of my 5.1 system. I wish we could separately higher the volume of the engine sounds also.

I was a little disappointed with the audio when I played this last night. Not the accuracy of the engine sounds, I'm in no position to judge that, but I was a little surprised that I couldn't get a feel for the position of other racers that were up along side me or snapping at my heels.

This was playing bonnet cam. I like the inside views, but I want to hear the engines roar.

Definitely. I was playing Diablo just before this unlocked (RIP my HC Barb) and the audio was really loud (the surround in that game is fantastic), but I found myself disappointed with the audio as I've mentioned above.

Anybody knows when Replay's will be coming? I really hope they nail the the replays with proper tv style camera positions and not camera's sticked to the cars showing the wheel or something.

You laugh, but I did a hypercar race at one of the Canada P2P tracks and on the very first corner like 6 AI cars swerved off track and one of them popped up 15 feet into the air doing a barrel roll.

Right then I knew that Hypercars were the work of the devil himself.

I disagree 100%.

I like having the HUD away from the absolute borders of my television while still getting a native resolution picture with no overscan. Reason being I have a pixel orbiter enabled to prevent image retention, items displayed at the extreme edges will be cut off (just by a single pixel but enough to be an annoyance in a game with significant info on the HUD like Diablo).

Every PS4 game I have played so far used that screen setting as a way of adjust hud placement.

It's an oversite that I'd like to see fixed. Once they actually make the game functional, I'd like to see if they are able to put some polish on the interface and give more customization options.

I also hear a lot of "hissing" sound from my own car and from the other cars. Its even louder then the engine sounds of the other cars when they are right behind u.

This is just the whine of the turbo I thought? I actually really like how that sounds.

LOL i believe you. the AI can really get on my nerves sometimes, like it'll crash right in front of me during a crucial corner or turn.

Brake before the curve turn then apply e-brake to swerve the car then floor it on the exist
