Yes, the HUD really suprised me and I think not even Forza 5 has it in. The attention to detail in the cars is amazing!

I'm wondering the same.

I can think of a bunch of games that sport beautiful and dynamic skyboxes (GT for example is really good at this), but none that gives such a 3D render of cloud cover.

This and the lighting are technical marvels.

I always buy physical versions, but I'm not into racing games, it's all about those graphics (I can't believe I'm saying that, and it's not that I don't want to play it). Getting the game for 20+€ cheaper - albeit digitally - sounds like a great deal.

Here are two excellent video's taken by someone who went to the Evolution Studio's DriveClub event yesterday. The video is taken off-screen with a camera, but is good quality.

First video shows off the Photo Mode, which looks to be spectacular. Free roaming camera, go anywhere on the track.

Second video shows off weather (rain in this case). The track starts dry and you can see the rain form puddles and the track get slick as the race goes on. The rain with the Sun peaking through the clouds at times is gorgeous.

haha that xbox controller in his hand made me laugh, he has got a point though, games should be released when they are finished. and i personally wouldnt buy driveclub because of the lack of content when compared to other racers who are sold for the same price

What lack of content? 55 courses is a perfectly adequate number of tracks (isn't that more than, like, all PS3 Motorstorms combined and much more than racers usually have?) and there's a beefy online/competetive side to the game. The number of cars is also respectable, not every game needs to be some car porn/collectathon racer like Gran Turismo. And we'll get a lot more cars& tracks for free as DLC for a long time after the game's release.

Basically the UK is going to get a few days less of level ups and goodies than anyone else, especially if we intended to have any Americans or whatever in our clubs. Not the end of the world, but so many gamers tend to play their games the most in the first few days they got it.

(in the real car) you can toggle to have the speedometer and the GPS turn signals....i guess the devs chose to just show only the speedometer which makes sense.

I don't think it will matter much

I might see if it is possible to get a US account and grab a PS+ trial and download that on Tuesday while we patiently await Friday, that way at least we'll be up to speed in India.

Man. This game is fucking frustrating at later single players levels. I am stuck at the semi pro race and I am about to throw the cobtroller. Cars hit me from the back and my car lose track no matter what I do. And it's not like I hit them first and they want revenge no. They just want to be in the track tey programmed in.
