Not to mention, racing with the MotorStorm buggy. (EDIT: And BAC Mono, that's available in the PS+ edition)

I don't like the usual racing games, like Gran Turismo and Need for Speed, but I love Driveclub, and it's up there with the classics like Racing Destruction Set, Stunt Car Racer, SSX, TrackMania, and WipEout HD for me. Everyone with a PS4 should try it now, that's it's available for free.

So I just downloaded and installed some 2GB + 10GB and now that im about to start racing my first 'cup' it says that the content is being dowloaded about 7 more min. for this cup and another cup says 17min? That whole 10GB update thing didn't instal correctly ore what?

Edit: It's hours :DD not minutes.

Dude, I just wanted to thank you for making Driveclub. I bought it last week with the price drop and I'm mad I waited so long. It's an incredible experience and the love and care you guys put in oozes from it. I can't control the Enzo for shit, but I'm still having a blast.

The Size of a game you see in your download list is only the portion reqiured to start the game, not the full size. It's downloading in the background. The game is not 3GB big with a 10 GB Patch, its 16 or 17GB.

Sony really needs to communicate that better. It's one thing that gets on my nerves every time on every board with every game, just annoying. People don't know it Sony, you have to tell them.

They changed their policy like the next day they announced it.
UPDATE: Our priority for DRIVECLUB is to enable you to play and enjoy everything it has to offer and PlayStation recognises that the prior plan for DRIVECLUB entitlement for the upgrade to the PS Plus edition was not appropriate. As a result, we have adjusted the PlayStation Plus terms for DRIVECLUB.

Now, If you intend on downloading DRIVECLUB PlayStation Plus Edition, and upgrading to the full game experience, you will have access to the full game even if your PlayStation Plus subscription runs out.

It downloaded the PlayGo portion of the game + the update. Rest of the game is still downloading if you check your notifications

could someone help me customize my driveclub experience to that of Sega Outrun arcade?

I am not sure what the Ferrari is called
what mode should I play the game on?
what character should be my character?( can I drive with a female partner?)
Can Driveclub dl Mp3 to drive club or how should I go about putting outrun MP3 to the PS4?
What tracks do you guys recommend?

I am barely at lv 6, and I just bought the game yesterday so what else do I need to buy in order to recreate my fantasy Outrun game?

That's good to know. I guess this proves how initial reveals are important as the initial news basically discouraged from bothering to read anything about it after that.

I believe Outrun used a Testarossa? But you could use the F40 if you have the full game/season pass.
You cannot have a second person in the car
Spotify will allow you to stream/DNLA streaming if MP3 is on network drive, or a USB stick.
Go for something like Japan P2P and enjoy the views.

Depends which OutRun they played. The original was only a Testarossa, but the newer 2002-2006 or so run arcade machines have Enzos, F40s, F50s, Dinos, and a few others.

Anyone else has trouble when clicking "Download to PS4" on the NA website? I tried doing this and all it does is give me a load animation but never goes pass that.

I hope people with the PS+ version give it some time. The opening race in India doesn't leave the best impression, even graphically, but stick with it, especially till you get to the Super and Hyper cars, and the game really opens up. I'm not a big fan of the hot hatch races to be honest, though they can act as refreshing change in pace and feel, and as a nice breather in between Super, Hyper Performance races etc, but not much more than that.

I bought the full game Monday after ending my boycott. Now the free version is finally out... go figure. I'm glad I bought it though. My friend and I had a blast taking turns doing some tours yesterday. The game is easy enough a noob like my friend had no problem learning the handling. He won his second or third race. The game is so beautiful when you're a spectator. PEACE.

I'm pretty sure the PS+ Edition doesn't give access to the original Driveclub tour any more.

I left my PS4 in rest mode and won't be back home for like 5 hours. Will it download the whole thing or start downloading the rest after I access the game? If it's the latter then that sucks.

Yeah, same boat here. 12gb later and downloading individual items in the menu. Not sure where that 12gb went.

First impression of gameplay: I cannot believe people said this game was too sim-like. The driving is pretty damn arcade-like if you ask me.

Other than that, as expected, it looks very good.

Will need to play more to decide how I feel about the basic mechanics, there's always a break-in period with new racers.

GT-R and 370Z are added in the next DLC packs

Was added in the last patch along with pressing left on the D pad to hide the ghost drivers on TT challenges.

Free demo is what you're after, just bad wording but has been confirmed in this thread by Rushy himself.

lol, fun driving game overall though. It's a little bit more lenient and took me a bit to get used to, but that may be because I've been feverishly playing Dirt Rally.

Currently it's a demo so I'm not sure if it will be removed at some point. If Rushy wants to chime in it would be appreciated.

Cannot find on NA store. No try free demo option, just full game trial. Is that the same thing or not? Currently downloading like 30 gb between game and patch, would rather not bother if its the 1 hour trial. I've already played the game.
