AMAZING GAME and I had to double tip because its just that good!
One thing I was having was some freezing and some BSOD screens. my CPU was going CRAZY!!!! I checked and my cpu was running at 100%. I know its been posted about fixes and downloading some other .exes and setting "Set CPU affinity to two cores" but I didn't know what that was.
I found a easy solution.
When in the game all I did was HIT
ALT+TAB to get out of the game then HIT
Control+shift+ESC for task manager
Found dustaet.exe and right click on it. there will be a option that says "SET Affinity" all I did was set it to two cores and its no longer running at 100%. I also set it to one core and had no problems. make sure all process is un checked.
Hope this helps everyone out!!! Back to playing DUST

Is there anyway to change the difficulty on a save already in progress, I started on normal and should have done a higher one.
oh by the way: an option to change between automatic and manual conversations? Why is it this game that has to teach all other games?
Help guys I'm stuck...
My current main quest isto go find in Abadis forest and find the leader. I went through the forest but now I got to a point where the path is blocked by a fire and I need to find a way around it... I've been looking everywhere and I can't find a path.
This looks fantastic. Noogy, is there any possibility of a Mac version in the future? (Sorry, hope that doesn't count as port begging). If not, I may just finally have to figure out Bootcamp.
Just pause the game and open up the settings menu. It's there on the right.
Ok, beat it on Tough and got all the achievements. Pretty awesome game!

You may want to spoiler tag that for people who haven't played it yet. Especially XBLA fans.
Cracked out on it and beat it today. LOL just bought it yesterday!
how many hours to get all the acheivements?
What is the point of no return for doing the side quests?
I think the in-game playtime said around 15 hours (some of that time was messing around with FRAPS though).how many hours to get all the acheivements?
A character will literally tell you and offer you a warp back to finish quests.
This game literally does everything right.
It's actually misleading. Your point of no return is reaching the last boss (A flag on the map which marks areas to go). You can go back even at the very last save point and teleport out of the area. And there's a save point right before fighting the last boss, so it works out fine.
This game is actually kind of great. Like a 16 bit era top down action RPG only with the perspective swapped. It reminds me of Crystalis and Soul Blazer.
I should have started on hard, though. The game is easy especially if I just spam and don't try to do cool, varied combos.
