Hmm while suing doesn't make sense there could be an uproar hadn't thought of that Hinduism is still vastly practiced whereas ppl who believed in Greek Viking Egyptian gods now mostly follow other religions . Hadn't thought of that .

Maybe just reboot the series ? What about old Central American religions ? Mayans etc

I can see either Central American (including all 3 of the major societies, which have somehow intermingled), Egyptian, or Norse. Anything else is too touchy or too unknown to Westerners.

This is how Sony E3 2015 will be

House presents, talks about the history of Playstation and how he is proud of its legacy. Then goes on to announce PS1 and PS2 Classics for PS4. PS2 Classics will be upressed similar to PC emulator.

He then goes on to talk about the great old Sony IPs. He then announces Parappa The Rapper PSN game. Then the audience a random sound "bumbaga" the screen goes dark that's right it's Crash Bandicoot 4. Exclusive to PS4.

Next up the president of Square comes on stage. Shows new trailers for FFXV and Kingdom Hearts III. He then shows a trailer of thay shitty FFVII PC port, however he does a reverse troll, mid Trailer the graphics transform into beautiful next gen graphics. That's right Final Fantasy VII Remake is announced.

Next up Ono from Capcom takes the stage. New trailer of Dragon's Dogma is shown. Then SFV trailer is also shown. Ono for some reason is cosplaying as Spiderman. He then goes onto announce Marvel Vs Capcom 4.

Next up the PS4 architect comes on stage. He talks about the days he used to work for Sega. He then announces Sony has bought Sega. He then announces 2 new games. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 and Shenmue 3.

Finally Jack Tretton makes a surprise appearance. He walks on stage and only says a few words. "I have unfinished business", he drops the mic and leaves the stage, the room goes dark and some pleasant music plays, then we see "The Last Guardian" with the conference ending.
And this is why yall are always letdown smh.

At least for one thing Sony is not hyping there confrence they clearly stated their line up will be not be as good this year. All of our expectations should be low. Microsoft on the other hand says they are coming guns blazing so I'm excited to see what both companies bring to the table!

Sheldon shows up during MS' to announce BBT: The Video Game. Trailer ends. Bazinga. Theater erupts in laughter and everyone dies.

At least for one thing Sony is not hyping there confrence they clearly stated their line up will be not be as good this year. All of our expectations should be low. Microsoft on the other hand says they are coming guns blazing so I'm excited to see what both companies bring to the table!

Guns blazing with games coming out next year.

I'm actually going to say, I predict that The Last Guardian will be showing up this year.

I've never said it before, I'm not even interested in the game personally, but I just have a feeling.

I also am able to empathize as I was hooked on Versus XIII from the first trailer in 2006.

That must mean their entire E3 conference was only going to be about games coming out in the last 7 months of this year. Got damn it Sony, you had one fucking job.

I hope TLG doesn't show up. Hope it was canceled so they could make a real game like a FPS.

At the close of the Xbox conference it will be announced that Sony has bought the Xbox brand. It was a Sony showing the entire time. Every time the name Microsoft was uttered it was in the context of joint collborations as Microsoft will still own their IPs to be used for their new focus on PC games unless the a new game centric label In the name If WinPlay.

At the start of the Sony conference, they will talk about the legacy of Playstation and all their past games. Yoshida will then make the comment "For people that care about playing their favourite legacy games offline, we have a console for them, it's called the Xbox One. Yes that is right starting next week you will be able to play PS classics and locale legacy disc games on your Xbox console."

Well, this is actually more likely than either Shenmue III or The Last Guardian being revealed.

You know something.
PS1/PS2 classics, FFXV/KH3 trailers, and SFV gameplay all sound totally reasonable. I'd actually be shocked if Street Fighter didn't show up at the Sony presser, and of course House is going to wank on about the legacy of Playstation like they do every year.

Man, part of me is hoping Sony uses their good relations with Disney to allow them (Capcom) to make MvC4.

I need more Mahvel. :(

Totally. At the very least, give us proper port of Marvel 3 onto gen8 with a patch. From what I understand, the Grim Fandango thing happened because Adam Boyes was a fan of the series and kept asking Disney for it. I hope Sony third party relations are fans of dat Mahvel crack.

Now that is one way Sony can atone to the FGC for their mistake with USF4.

Has anyone here mentioned thatgamecompany? I really want to see their followup to Journey.

Although, I remember reading something about a lot of staff leaving after Journey. I'm not sure about the specifics on that, but I'm obviously not assuming that this means there's no talent or substance left in the company. Just curious.

Giant Squid is comprised of former thatgamecompany developers, right? ABZÛ looks great.

Maybe if they bring the movie rights for Spider-Man into it they could work something out lol, but yeah one can only hope that their relation can get us a Marvel 4.
Also speaking of Disney, crazy idea: Star WarsxBushido Blade. People want Lightsabers to cut arms off and so on, and in that kind of game it could work. One hit kills and all that stuff.

Well that got dark very quickly. M. Night Shyamalan twist at the end.
Nah. That's going to be at Sony's conferece. Ueda has given up on The Last Guardian, and Shyamalan has become TLG's new creative director.

Spoiler: The ruins you're exploring is the titular "Last Guardian". The catbird is allergic to water and dies due to being exposed to rain as soon as you leave the ruins.

Aren't Boyes and Vignocchi super BFF's?

It doesn't seem that unlikely really and Vignocchi definitely has enough pull to make things happen.

Pfft unrealistic. Everyone knows sonic 4 is already a game that came out.

Is Kyoufu supposed to be an insider or something? Seems like he/she just said something seems likely, and people are going cray cray.

Hey now, I'm just responding to you when you say MS haven't released a solid 1st party title since Forza...since you are factually incorrect. No reason to flip it around and say something I'm not saying.

Define first party before claiming it is factually incorrect. Published and developed in house is the most common understanding.

Though I was incorrect in saying Forza when in actuality it was a month later with the MCC, but forgive me for forgetting about a wonky remaster. If you don't intend to argue the point, then move along. Your nitpicking is of no use.

For some reason, I think he's genuine.

And actually the WorthyEdge was too.

He predicted Dragons Dogma Online and Street Fighter V.

But Crash remains elusive.

haha

Crash, Dragons Dogma, EPIC Game + Last Guardian?? Thats what he said on twitter....i can't remember him saying anything about SF V :/

Here's how (I would guess) Sony's Conference goes down:

Open with gameplay demo of UC4, with Bruce Straley playing the game. Happens for 5 minutes, ends with release date (a Friday in mid February).

Shuhei comes out, says that this is "one of the many exciting projects at Worldwide Studios." He's thrilled to announce not one, not two, but three new AAA IPs today at the show from Worldwide Studios. Here's the first one:

Trailer for Horizon with a new name. Ends with robot dinosaur roaring, "Summer 2016." Someone from Guerrilla comes out for a 5 minute demo, walking through an environment. A light on the other side of the stage comes on: another GG person is also holding a controller and joins the first person's game. They're working together to take down a giant dinosaur.

Lights go dark. Eery music begins to play. Bend's Horror IP is revealed with a trailer no release date. No demo for this one.

Parappa downloadable game.

Morpheus time. Give it a date: that's also the date for Bend's game. There's another two major games coming for Morpheus.

MM's new IP is exclusive to Morpheus, while Bend's is Morpheus optional. They open MM's game with a video of someone creating something, and tell the audience that they'll be able to make their own creations in the PlayStation booth.

No Man's Sky music plays. It's also playable with Morpheus.

Shahid comes out to tell us about indies. He introduces a bunch of PC games coming to PS4 and Vita, as well as a trailer montage of release dates for games already announced (STFU, Not a Hero, Talos Principle, etc.)

Boyes comes out. "It's third party time, yo!"

Boyes introduces Yoshinori Ono.

Ono and Boyes play a round of SFV while he explains a new mechanic through his translator. This drags a little bit, but the game looks beautiful.

Ono and Boyes have something else to announce. Lights go dark. Playstation vs Capcom.

Lights come back on, and somebody from WB is on the stage. Gives Arkham Knight launch trailer. "We have something else to announce." Trailer plays.

Suicide Squad or Superman is exclusive to Playstation 4.

Lights come back up to a 2K person and Boyes. They introduce Civ Rev 2 Plus and XCOM Enemy Within Plus. Both are coming to Vita with the help of third party productions. Bonus prediction: neither will run particularly well.

Trailer for XCOM: Advent whatever plays. Launches this October.

Short Battleborn trailer. DLC comes first to PlayStation. Release date.

Activision guy comes out. Black Ops 3 DLC comes first to Playstation. Gameplay demo that includes the phrase "in the interest of time."

"Of course, we couldn't talk about playstation without talking about Destiny." Destiny numbers thrown about, including hours played, kills with PS exclusive weapons, and number of multiplayer matches. Destiny: Comet announcement. Regular DLC rigamoral.

Yves Guillemot comes out to introduce a short demo for AC: Syndicate. Also has a trailer for either Watch Dogs 2 or the open world RPG new IP. Whichever one was introduced at the Ubi conference earlier in the day. That title comes Q1 2016.

EA time. That guy who used to work for DICE but now has a big shot title at EA comes out (Patrick soderland, maybe?). Introduces either Amy Hennig to talk about Visceral's game or EA Canada's open world Star Wars game. Trailer for that game, though we've heard about it once today.

Of course, Battlefront demo. Battlefront bundle; console looks awesome. I want one but am unable to justify the purchase. Throws to Shawn Layton to close.

"We have one final announcement that we think will excite the Playstation community."

The Last Guardian launches this November. It will not sell well, but will give Sony a lot of hardcore gamer cred.

EDIT: the Morpheus intro is when they give impressive sounding sales numbers. The Level 5 game might be in there too.

Phil Spencer has already defined what first party means to them, so not sure what else there is to say when the head of Xbox considers those games 1st party.

Screamride, Ori and State of Decay are all first party to them since it is their IP and their employees and project managers are intertwined on the projects with whatever studio they have helping them make the game to their direction. And Kalimba was out also in December... ya, ya, a small download game but still. There's been 4 "first party" games since the fall.

I don't agree with the original poster that Ms has been "more focused", but I also don't agree that they have not put out any "first party" games since Halo...thats just not true and was all I was saying.

Isn't that French journalist teasing something huge for Sony's E3 conference?

Or I could be mistaken.

But I am honestly very hyped for all conferences.

Dunno where the doom and gloom is coming from.

Amazing, you could combine this with the Gafer who had something like this but said Five Nights At Freddies season pass.

So, who gets Rock Band 4 and who gets GH: Live? I can't tell if Harmonix would go with Sony because of the Amplitude thing or go with Microsoft because of their partnership last gen.

Yeah, that's a high profile enough indie that I could see MS trying to grab it. I'm interested to see where that game shows up in 2 weeks, because I would be shocked if someone doesn't get it. Could Nintendo try to snag it for Wii U? Those games are on iPad, right?
