II know a lot of you dislike/hate VR, but it won't ruin your experience if comes to Morpheus. .

That really depends on how they add the support in. If the whole game is dumbed down to allow 2 renders to happen at once, that does effect the experience, the graphics could have been better but because of adding morpheus support they had to tone them down to support it.

With the dawn of morpheus I hope that all devs go with the "morpheus mode" option where the game runs at optimized settings for morpheus (which may require lower texture fidelity/res/effect) while still taking full advantage of the hardware when not using morpheus.

they need to have a full demo or at the very least a trailer/demonstration of the game without editing for No Man's Sky. Another 'obscure' trailer will only cause more confusion.

They need something substantial because so far the glimpses of the game have been short and far apart and it's only causing frustration for many because Sony keeps hyping the game.
What would you like to see? They'll probably change it up and make everything extremely close again for the sake of a demo. So we'll probably see traveling from planet to planet, maybe getting some resources and running g away from that galactic police. I can't see them doing anything else, unless they decide to meet with someone online and show that offm

The games for VR HDM have now two main forms to come:
- Full VR support;
- The option you gave;

Most of early big, aka AAA, titles will follow the second option. They can't risk they money until it has a mass acception. Sounds reasonable, don't? \o/

It's great for me :D

I'd like to see ANYTHING from the game that isn't edited amidst reused scenes. I can't tell you my frustration during the PSX when they had a whole section for NMS and it ended up being like an hour of music. Music was great but we only caught short glimpses of gameplay.

So yeah. Give me a proper trailer of what the current state of the game is. Release date would be nice.

I don't think they will unless they show us some sort of combat. There's no way they'll show exploration.

Seems they have been holding a lot back informational that they can show. Sean confirmed destructible environments, and such. NMS is coming this year, so this E3 feels like the right one for it.

At this stage anything less then a live gameplay demo of No Mans Sky and showing the actual gameplay loop of the game would be real lame.

At E3 I want to see the answer for "what do you actually do in No Mans Sky?"

Ughhh I'm sooo excited for more No Man's Sky info.

Since they haven't shown much land combat in previous trailers, maybe that'll be the focus this E3. Or maybe they'll do a full on demo answering the "Well, what do you DO" question that a lot of people who haven't followed the game have.

And then announce a release date and Morpheus support to top it all off :)

Oh I thought we were just talking about a live on-stage demo. Lol. Yeah a good 5 minutes trailer with all new footage, showing off the HUD, and the game mechanics would be ideal. We probably won't be getting a concrete release date.

That's true. I didn't know it was coming this year. I didn't know they said 2015.

Sony might have a good holiday lineup with Dragon Quest Heroes, UCollection and maybe No Man Sky, The Witness and Persona 5.

Its not MS blockbusters but its pretty decent, Especially for hardcore fans.

Dreamin of TLG being there too

How is this shocking . . .?

They didn't give any info. People started to lose their hopes, and then came a tweet about them comming to E3. It was fake and people hope were crushed, since they just told the tweet was fake and didn't said they were to come at E3.

No Man's Sky is love.
I lied, Shrek is love.

Edit:
So... what was that "huge" Sony thing that was supposed to be on Twitter? lol

So guys remember that "omg announcement incoming at 6pm PT" thing that was happening by the twitter dude that wasn't verified, surprise surprise, it didn't happen. According to the guy, there was supposed to be a hype video from Sony teasing stuff for next week, showcasing the games we know of already, but "a single frame" in the video had something that looked like The Last Guardian.

So glad I didn't hype this little development up.

He's still saying "it will happen this week, guaranteed".

My bullcrap meter is going crazy!

If there is no official mention of The Last Guardian, I will take a picture of myself outside of Studio Japan's building with a sign asking for it.
