It was pretty embarrassing from a dev standpoint. Everyone's important in a dev team but to do promotion where you single out one person and market the game around her was pretty sad.

Yeah. I remember prior to the first games PS3 release and leading up to AC2 she was all you really saw doing interviews and such.

She is a pretty face though. Guess they thought people would be more willing to sit back and watch her talk about the game and market it and such. Maybe break some genre barriers or something. Who knows. But she was always the face of Assassins Creed to me. Wasn't she also on stage to unveil it the first time?

I think they have Shenmue if that's actually happening. With that said, what Major Nelson is talking about doesn't necessarily have to be a third party game. It could be a number of RARE IP's actually being handled by RARE. Just a few years ago many were convinced that RARE had become a Kinect and Avatar factory. So seeing them on stage presenting something like Banjo in a 3D platformer form would be a big deal.
