Know that Cerny worked at Atari and later at Universal studios. Don't remember if any of them worked at Sega. Adam Boyes has also been at Capcom.
Edit: roger roger, after googling Rhode worked there too as a producer.

Yes he is a big reason why we even got Sonic 2 and he was a programmer on the game. Scott Rohde was a Q&A tester at Sega.

It's just perspective. Fallout 3, Deus Ex HR and Dishonered were easily in my top 10 last generation. KH1/2 and Hitman2/C/BM were easily in my top 10 for the PS2. Next gen sequels for those games will hopefully be glorious.

If sony were to announce Shenmue, FF7, TLG, on top of their stellar line up as well as Horizon, I don't know how you don't crown that as one of the most amazing E3 conferences in the history of E3.

Probably an hour to an hour and a half. With it being so late, I can't imagine it running 2 hours.
You would be better off getting some sleep and watching it after work and avoiding the internet until you can see it.

Right, but the hardcore is what E3 is largely for...thus games like TLG and Banjo are megatons for E3.
Like for tlg, I don't think most would care. You could put things on gaf server stress scale. Then it could possibly be sizeable. Let's see what gives gaf servers the final blow.

TLG will not be a big deal, it will most likely be niche., but it would be a bigger deal then banjo just because of the hype and mystique around that game.
Banjo doesn't have much pull these days and rare from years ago no longer exist.

I think Banjo is down to if you grew up playing those games. I remember I tried Banjo Kazoo ur XBLA re release and I hated it. We rent into the character designs, music and overall tone of the game. Also hated the collectible aspect of the game. The weird thing is I grew up with a SNES and love platformers. Super Mario 64 was way more enjoyable for me.
This, we are not in the N64 era anymore.
