Gamespot's most anticipated games for E3 2015

Fallout 4
Halo 5: Guardians
Star Wars Battlefront
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Kingdom Hearts III
Guitar Hero Live
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
Street Fighter V
Persona 5
Tom Clancy's The Division
No Man's Sky
Mirror's Edge
Doom
Mario Maker
Rock Band 4
Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem
Star Fox Wii U
Untitled Mass Effect
The Last Guardian

I'm now a fan of Gamespot.

Lots of boring ass games there, but they redeemed themselves with that last pick.

If Level-5 don't bring something on par with their PS2 offerings at this E3, I think I'm gonna lose any respect for them as a videogame company. Right now, I'd rather consider them some child entertainment company which just happens to also still make some shallow kid-only orientated videogames. I guess the milking already started with Layton, but at one point their focus seemed to become these multimedia projects which try to clone the Pokemon/yugioh formula over and over again. Starting with Little Battlers and Inazuma, now thriving with Youkai and soon continuing with Snack World... which all look the same and equally shallow (unlike for example good Nintendo titles).
I guess there was Ni No Kuni outside of that, but that wasn't really a very good game either.

Dark Cloud 1 & 2 and Rogue Galaxy mmmmm
Exactly, I would totally freak out, gave all 3 games LONG hours on my PS2....but if they didn't do it on PS3, they're hardly doing it on PS4, they'll go for new IP or sequel to an existent one. No remasters :(
I hope I am wrong though :P

Ni No Kuni was on par with their PS2 output, IMO.

Well, it's the most anticipated games for a gaming site. So it's like "games we are anticipating, because we are eager to write about and that would generate the most visits = ad money." Fine with me. At least they are honest.

Next Sunday night hnnngnh it's almost here. Sucks I'm gonna miss the MS, Nintendo, and SE conferences because of my stupid job.

I'll watch the replays, spoiler free, but watching live and browsing GAF is really half the fun :(

I was addicted to Dark Cloud 2 so I would love it if Level 5 made a sequel or new IP that is a spiritual successor.

I really wish Sony would release both Dark Cloud 1 and 2 on the US PSN.They own the IP...

EDIT: Or is it still? Maybe I'm thinking of the Japanese store.

Yeah it's on the JP PSN store.

If level 5 is collaborating with Sony. I honestly don't see them making a new IP with them. I think that the fact that most of their recent and successful IPs are the ones that they own will probably keep them resorting to that.

As soon as all the conference times were set in stone, I requested time off.

Super duper ready.

Who is amar212? An insider?

Not sure if he is, or was, a game journalist in central Europe?

Anyway..I put together a full set of quotes from the GT6 thread and honestly it reads contradictory to me! /grasping at straws

So,

Interesting

Good possibility it's at E3?

I do not foresee any GT related announcements on E3.

My perception is GT is never really at E3; mostly TGS and/or Gamescom. However, I have no data to back up that perception, lol.

[edit] by "at E3" I mean presentations, announcements, reveals, etc. GT usually has some presence (playable demos, etc)

GT3 was at E3 2001, I was there personally, it was amazing.

GT4: Prologue was announced and played at PS Experience London in 2004 IIRC

GT4 was announced at E3 as well IIRC

GT Vision was premiered at E3 (or was it TGS??)

GT:HD (2006 micro transaction version that included bikes, scrapped later in 2006) was mentioned and made playable on E3 2006 IIRC

GT5 was officially announced on E3 2010 for November release by SCEA, to be pushed for December, in one of the greatest IP meltdowns considering delay IIRC

Some dreams will become reality though.

This thread will continue to live.

Hmmm, why is IGN so confident GT7 will show up at Sony's conference.

It’s also a pretty safe bet that we’ll see these 9 games on stage during Sony’s press conference, or at least at the company’s expansive booth on the show floor:

-Drawn to Death
-God of War III: Remastered
-Gran Turismo 7
-Hellblade
-Ratchet & Clank
-Rime
-Tearaway Unfolded
-Until Dawn
-The Witness

It is good to be confident.

Do we know who will be streaming the events?

Ni no Kuni was better than any Level 5 PS2 game I ever played.

Someone on Twitter got super mega hyped for PS Experience because Yakuza 5 was localised.

Hype well deserved.

First I need to check if he is one of those people that gave Evolve game of the show last year :p

To be fair, Evolve in a setting where everyone is in the same room is pretty damn exciting. Playing that at Judges Week with 5 people within view if each other all actually working together would have been a ton of fun.

It's just hype, dude. Nothing more. :(

Don't get expectations too up. Will come and bite in ass.

Its Brian altano, I hear him in podcast beyond and he is usually excited in a reserved manner.

And dude, I'm excited for whatever this maybe. YOU only get disappointed if your expectations are specific and totally huge.

On the other hand, it could be a bait...

Anyway I'm going through E3 with an open mind this time.

I totally have access to secret documents too. Like top secret ones, even higher than IGN ones. Although I dont want to break my NDA so ill post it after E3, k?

The insiders ITT have been pretty insistent that the Level 5 game is a new IP IIRC.

Exactly my point. I'm still down to buy it day-one, but I make up a small population of gamers who will hold attention for years (still got hope, TLG!).

A lot of average gamers are interested in NMS, and they need some real info and new stuff...

All they have to do is show a working trailer using Morpheus with a Nov '15 release date and the hype would shoot into the sky (pun intended).

No need to wait, mate. Just post every prediction you have now and make sure to PM bishoptl as I hear he is a big fan of leaks!

I won't lie, I kind of got excited reading Altano's tweet but the posts that followed it here put things in perspective lol. No sense in setting myself up for disappointment.

Being honest, XB1 players need to catch up if they come from 360, so they need the whole KH collection in their system. If they release KH3 there, they should release the previous ones too.

My worry is, with the couple of leaks that have already happened, what the hell are we going to see at E3? I feel like some games that were planned to be shown later in the year might get pushed up and be shown at E3. Either way, I'm excited.

Yea, it makes sense. If KH3 wasn't announced for XB1 I would say no but with it coming and if they do a PS4 complete collection port is just makes a lot of sense.

After type 0 i think it makes no sense. Even in XB1's strongest region they only managed to get a 21% share. I doubt KH a franchise that has been predominantly on Playstation will see a better share for XB1.

The question is if it's worth the porting costs. Personally I think they won't do it, as the demographics just don't match up. In general, Xbox owners don't buy JRPGs.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sony just forks over the cash to offset any XB1 sales.

It's all shoot shoots and sporty sports, ya dig? I'm not trying to be stereotypical but it's the truth. Those genres sell better on Xbox than any other.
