Sony is skipping E3 2019, but does that mean they will be silent? While Sony has already unveiled limited details on the PS5, which is expected to launch in 2020, Playstation does have a number of games in active development for the PS4 like The Last Of Us 2, Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding, MediEvil and more, it is more than likely that we get some news about those games in the coming days

Nah...not really buying the Pokemon stuff on Nintendo side. I mean, they already did a specific direct just for pokemon. If it has anything about it probably will be repeated stuff.

Shame there is no Sony to be present
It’s still going to be awesome, even without them. E3 is still E3.

They made a conscious decision to sit this one out and anyone dissapointed in that needs to direct that towards Sony, not towards the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

They will be back next year and I’m sure everyone will be shouting from the rooftops about how great it is Sony is back.

Super stoked to be attending Microsoft presser this year. Here are my final and personal predictions.

1st Party

  • Halo Infinite Campaign Trailer + Gameplay - Holiday 2020
  • Gears 5 Demo Playthrough - Early September 2019
  • Battletoads Gameplay - Fall 2019
  • Ori and the Will of the Wisps Gameplay Trailer - August 2019
  • Forza Horizon 4 Lego Expansion
  • Minecraft Dungeons
  • Bleeding Edge Announcement + Gameplay - Early 2020 (New IP #1)
  • Wasteland 3 Announcement
  • Fable Teaser
  • Banjo in Smash
  • Banjo 1 and 2 Remake in 1 game (New engine, from the ground up, outsourced to a different studio under Rare's supervision same as Battletoads scenario)
  • Gears Tactics Gameplay Trailer and 2020 Release
  • Age of Empires IV Gameplay Reveal and 2020 release date
  • New IP #2
  • New IP #3
3rd Party

  • From Software - Great Rune for Early 2020
  • Capcom - Dino Crisis for 2020
  • Techland - Dying Light 2 for Fall 2019
  • EA Jedi: Fallen Order for November 15th
  • Activison: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for October 25th
  • Obsidian - The Outer Worlds (Yes, Microsoft owns them but this a game that was in development before the purchase and is coming to multiple platforms)
  • Gearbox - Borderlands 3 for September 13th
  • Many more 3rd parties as well, can't think of them right now
Services

  • PC Game Pass Details
  • More BC Games
  • Project xCloud Details and Public Test Dates and Launch Window

Conferences begin Sunday, June 9 and end on Tuesday, 11

On Sunday, Microsoft will head to LA where the company will be hosting their annual E3 keynote. Microsoft will be showing off 14 titles from their own game studios, according to Phil Spencer.
Of that, you can expect titles like Gears of War 5 (codenamed Halifax) will have a strong presence, and we will also see items like new DLC for State of Decay 2, Forza Horizon 4 Expansion 2. Halo Infinite is expected to have trailer and gameplay wile Age of Empires info will be mentioned too. Fable details may also be tossed in as, and it looks like there will be at least 3 new IPs that we haven’t seen previously. Sources at the company are saying that this is among the strongest showings from third-party companies in its E3 history (thanks to Sony non-presence).
We will also hear more about xCloud service. Microsoft has been talking about this service for about a year and at E3, and we should get a new look at the offering.
As Microsoft announced last week, GamePass for the PC will also be talked about in much greater detail and you can expect new game announcements for Game Pass.

Although the company teased Elder Scrolls 6 and all-new intellectual property Starfield during last year's show, it has already confirmed that neither will be part of its 2019 presentation.
Instead, we are sure to see more on Doom Eternal and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
A sequel to mobile, PC and Xbox One game Fallout Shelter is rumored, considering it has
popped up in China already, so we are almost certain to find out more about its global release plans.
There will also be updates on Elder Scrolls Online, Blades and Legends, plus Fallout 76 too.
However, the big the surprise could come from Shinji Mikami who has confirmed his presence, so we should learn more on his next project at the Bethesda showcase.

Expect the unexpected, Devolver Digital has developed a reputation for wacky conferences over the years. The show's host often makes jabs at video game industry trends and gaming culture in general with tongue planted firmly in cheek, of course.
Its slate of upcoming games includes My Friend Pedro, Sometimes Always Monsters, The Talos Principle 2, Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass, Metal Wolf Chaos XD, and more. But keep in mind we really have no idea of what to expect.

As the image above outlines, this year UploadVR.com is hosting the first-ever E3 VR Showcase. The show kicks off at 9AM PT on June 10 at the UploadVR YouTube channel and is packed with new VR game announcements and more. The event is going to be a live video hosted on their official YouTube channel.
Stormland, Defector, Blunt Force and Asgard Wrath will probably be talked, and we could also have an announcement for the Valve Index

This year, the PC Gaming Show is sponsored by the Epic Games store. Epic will reveal brand new material for several games, including some exclusives, coming to the EGS. Additional sponsors include E-WIN, Frontier, Paradox Interactive, Perfect World Entertainment, Rebellion, and more. According to PC Gamer Editor-in-Chief Evan Lahti, “This year's livestream will present more announcements and new trailers than any previous PC Gaming Show."
Frontier Developments has recently acquired a "world famous" license that we should hear about and Outer Wilds, Borderlands 3, Control and Bloodlines 2 will probably have their moment too.
Tripwire Interactive also "can't wait to show what the Maneater team has been working on" and Funcom could reveal the second Conan game we know they working on.
This should be an interesting show to watch.

Ubisoft revealed Ghost Recon Breakpoint in early May, and we now know that Watch Dogs Legion will be here and Roller Champions has already leaked online with a video.
The many rumors of a new Splinter Cell
could concretize this year, and with the next generation of hardware on the horizon, the famous "one last thing" could be one of the first next gen title we see. Ubisoft is probably gonna talk about future content for The Division 2 and R6 Siege too.
Beside, a new subscription service
has been seen on Uplay recently.
Sadly, Beyond Good and Evil 2 and Skull and Bones
are skipping e3 this year.

This should be an interesting showcase too, with the confirmation of the first gameplay of Marvel's Avengers and the recently announced new game from People Can Fly, Outriders, and the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 7 Remake, there is already a lot to see.
Dying Light 2 will also be present and should get a release date, and Platinum Games is also expected to reveal more about Babylon's Fall and... is it time for FF XVI?

Super Mario Maker 2 and Pokemon Sword and Shield will undoubtedly be the biggest focus on Nintendo's traditionally massive E3 stand. It is hoped that Nintendo will detail more on Animal Crossing coming to Switch, plus the remaster of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Bayonetta 3, Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Super Mario Maker 2 are probably gonna be presented with more detail.
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3 is also gonna be shown and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate & Splatoon 2 also seems like a safe bet, considering that Nintendo has tournaments planned for both last titles at E3.
We probably won't see the recently rebooted Metroid Prime 4, but E3 is gonna be a great time for Nintendo fans.

This year, instead of a traditional keynote, EA is doing individual breakout sessions for each of its main franchises, witch include Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, The Sims 4, Battlefield V , Apex Legends and more.
We will also see the announcements for the next version of the Madden, FIFA, NHL and NBA Live franchises ans It's more than likely we'll hear about some addition to the Titanfall universe. Less likely but still possible are new games from EA’s DICE studio who have yet to announce a project for 2019, as well as projects from PopCap (Plants vs Zombies) and Ghost Games (NFS)
BioWare also showed a teaser trailer for Dragon Age 4 at last year’s The Game Awards, and while it's a long shot, it'd be nice to hear something about its development.

Come on Ride the Train...Ride it... Great OT KyoZz KyoZz Do we know where CyberPunk 2077 will be shown? Is it at Microsoft or their own conference?

while I'm not on the first class seat of the hype train myself, I do enjoy watching E3 stuff in general. the fond memories of days of old, when we speculate about every single little detail we have before E3 and try to guess what's going to happen had always been fun. I still have that picture of "Carnival Of Stupid" around somewhere too.

Thx ! If everything goes well CP should be at Microsoft

If i was MS and i owned Obsidian id NOT bring The Outer Worlds to PS4, just because id be fed up of the constant burn from not having decent exclusives.

I have a feeling that E3 is going to be really good this year, despite the fact that unfortunately Sony won't be there. I'm on the hype train!

I am glad Sony is not here this year. Why? Because its throws in a complete curveball and makes the whole thing a lot more interesting and unique. I do expect them to fully return in 2020 though.

Mark my words.

This year's E3 2019 is an appetizer to the main course E3 2020. We're about to witness a "calm before the storm" event and then the actual "storm" next year.

I wonder if there will be any price drops? You would think something would happen soon to make market space for the new stuff.

Only two games I care about at this point in time. Tlou2 and cyberpunk 2077. One of them won't be showcased.

Also interested in the rumors about R* announcement. That's about it for now.

KyoZz KyoZz you could also provide links directly to the threads that are tagged for each conference, if you'd like. It might make it easier to find later on. For example, with the Bethesda conference:
