This post made me listen to (and fall in love with) HH. I still don't totally get the show, but Sinbad was flawless.

Yea the Xmas ep was great, definitely the best one in months (best since the victor and tiny episode probably).

Fucking Lauren Lapkus. Hoho (Hoho!) the Elf was hilarious. Its was so ridiculous...like she just thought it up that morning or something. Awesome.

Agreed about Victor and Tiny too. I always find their episodes hilarious. They killed it again here,

Annoying to have it confirmed by Sockerman that they were indeed going to do an episode after the week of Fallon appearances, but cancelled it after fucking Bonobos had his bike accident.

It's fun learning the guy's music tastes over these eps. Scottm often has questionable picks but is obviously more in-the-know on a wider range of music, and is at least aware of how people might view bands like Coldplay as uncool. He's the one you'd actually want to discuss music with. Whereas Ada apparently limits his listening to rock only, whether it's 80s garbage, boring but "cool" stuff like Real Estate, boring and uncool stuff like Foo Fighters and Jack White, or slightly cooler bands eg parquet courts and cheap girls

I haven't been keeping up with CBB much this year and loving the Holiday ep so far, what would you guys recommend as your top five eps for the year? I know they pick a best of after the new year, but I'm impatient dammit.

Holy crap I missed the Victor and Tiny episode that was featured on the best of today. I almost threw up from laughing so hard when they played the tape of the Victor interview.

The story behind those characters makes it even more hilarious. I like how Scott is giving more backstory to the characters and the show this year.

Oh shittttt. Glad I started listening to this podcast. It's great!

I loved the episode where they negotiated their contracts. The fact that they went from negotiating shares of Coca Cola to actual cans of Diet Coke was hilarious.

EDIT: Okay, the call-in HH is an amazing episode. The banter is great between their listeners and Sean and Hayes, and it's actually pretty awesome that they knew basically every person that called in, and could recall all the forum members. That's pretty cool! Sometimes I get the feeling that podcasters of big shows see their fans as a weird group of nerds or something. I know HH isn't a "big podcast", but I don't know... it's just nice to hear that! And to hear them make fun of them all. :p Busted out laughing when they answered all the remaining calls at once.

HH has an amazing community on the earwolf forums, Sean and Hayes definitely appreciate us a lot. I mean, every episode features the popcorn gallery which gives us a chance to ask stupid questions to celebs. This is why it's the best podcast on earwolf.

Yeah, that was a good episode. I don't post there but I read the HH forum occasionally and they're pretty funny, like the show in text form.

That Holiday special was great, probably the best one yet. Lauren and Neil really brought it.

And thanks for the Sinbad suggestion for HH, I did not expect him to roll with it. Thomas Middleditch was great too.

Still have the new U2 to listen to but I'm glad they're making up excuses to keep it going.

The funniest part to me is Scott laying out the logistics of finding brawling horses and attending funerals every week. I love when the entire thing implodes from the insanity.

That and the noises of the horses fighting killed me. "You gotta laugh" is probably the best part for me though.

it doesn't appear to be doing well judging by the amount of downloads it gets, which is a real shame because it really is a great show.
