I really don't care for the animations honestly. I like the styling of them, but they seem to lack fluidity. Well, a lack in number of frames, I should say. I always wonder if things like SF3 have completely killed me when it comes to 2D animations because of the God-Tier quality of them. I'm really not trying to judge the game too harshly, because it looks amazing considering its a download-developed titled.
It's incomplete and they are aiming to have 1200 - 1500 frames PER character. Some of you need to take those 3S nostalgia glasses off. gets annoying

If they really want to have him commentate so much, they need to get Min on as well. He's the only one that can keep up with all the shit Hu says, and he's a godlike troll as well

Awesome, Silk's there.

Sounds like a lot of players aren't there, and I'm talking East Coast. EMP is sounding like a no-show, almost. Maybe more will show up.

Glad to see people digging Skullgirls in here, and I hope to see some of you in the thread in the future!

Some thoughts and responses:

- The game is obviously early - the character select is all (terrible) programmer art and the real one is being made as we speak

- The in-game HUD is pretty close to done, but still lots of tweaks and improvements coming, such as moving and improving the combo hit counter, fixing and moving the assist green light, etc.

- As the game is coming to XBLA, there will be a demo - expect the fairly standard trial/unlock model of distribution

- We have the most frames of animation of any fighting game, period - our current minimum is 3rd Strike's maximum. Remember, the stream is not running at 60 FPS like the actual game would be!

- The music isn't all the same, and it's awesome, since it's by Michiru Yamane. I only saw them playing on one stage, so maybe we just need to put Random in as the default for events like this.
