I was gonna wait on NiOH, but it's getting better reviews than RE7 which I absolutely loved, and I already like the Souls games better than Resident Evil... 😥

I'm resisting the urge to get Nioh and be apart of the zeitgeist. Undecided
I already have FFXV, Gravity Rush 2, and Yakuza to play (along with backlog games) and Horizon and Berserk coming this month
Tbh I still wish the game was more Ninja Gaiden than Souls. The RPGness of it is what is turning me off right now. I know people post their videos of Nioh combos and say "look it's just like Ninja Gaiden get gud" but it's still not what I'm looking for. I dug the alpha (and especially the beta) but I'm still not entirely sure it's something I want to put the time into to get gud at
Then again, I'm saying this now but I'll probably be buying it Tuesday. The struggle.

I'm currently 9 chapters deep in to Yakuza thanks to Ben, Huber and partially Hasney. I can't believe I've been missing out on this franchise for so long. So much charm, humour and great, great storytelling. Honestly, I don't know how they get you attached to the characters so quickly.

Having Peeve's stream in the background who is apparently a known dark souls pvp guy and streaming Nioh currently. Dude is actually pretty nice too watch but I wish we had EZA streaming. :-x maybe later next week.
Also because we're sharing stories about various things that are hindering our progress in Yakuza, well I have this 10k word essay that needs to get done and keeps me from the temptation to tear of the shrinkwrap and say bye to RL. And to be honest Nioh is probably the next that's going to hinder me.

Finished Gravity Rush 2 and all side missions and
. Fun game, has its flaws but I love that it got a fleshed out and proper console version. Now I wait for Nioh to be released and dust off Pokemon S/M while I wait

Nice, I just finished Chapter 20 and all the side missions today. I think I'm gonna wrap up the remaining story missions tomorrow and then try to wrap up everything else (abilities, challenges, trophies, etc) over the next few days. There are definitely some frustrating bits, especially the super linear rift areas, but god I love the world, the characters, the art style and the core gameplay. Kat's the jolliest main character.
Once that's done, I guess I'll move onto RE7 with some Steins;Gate 0 on the side. I feel a bit guilty having watched Huber's RE7 stream before I got the chance to play it but I didn't really think I'd get around to it for months and wanted to know what all the fuss was about.
Speaking of which, I'm slowly making my way through Damiani's RE7 stream and oh man, the salt is just rolling off him in buckets. Get gud, Damiani. And stop blaming the game because you've wasted all your ammo. It's survival horror, not a shooter.
Oh yeah, I forgot we were talking about it. Yep, thoroughly enjoying it.
Yeah, seeing it through the eyes of the two businessmen is such a cool stylistic choice.

It's not a they. Huber is still bummed though since he loved Uncharted 4 and isn't a fan of TLG. Different people at EZA will rate the same games differently

Pretty much. The only thing that bothers me is when they'll talk about a game they don't really know or haven't played. Eg. Huber saying that Siege went F2P.
I don't mind if they don't bring a game up, I'd rather that then them talk about a game they don't know a lot about/misinformed about.

Jones mentioned he'd probably stream it and huber said he'd play it with him in his latest Friday stream.
It felt weird at the time but seeing what L&R became, it's hard to deny it was the right move.
He was wrong but not that far off, Siege's starter edition is very similar to F2P games.

Just did that today as well.
Before you are in the alley wait for the people at the alley to turn around and just go for it.
Once you are in the alley, wait against the wall as far to the street as you can (resting against the part that sticks out so the people on the street can not see you). Once the women in the backalley where the machine is turns around , just gun for the machine. Once the cutscene starts you are safe.
It is difficult to explain on how to do this, I hope it helps somewhat.
I had to try it a few times as well, although all in all it went ok.

Yep. I did't find The Last Guardian worthy of GotY either personally and found Uncharted 4 a better game overall.
Huber was just being honest about his feelings on it.

Is Thanos supposed to be thane-os? I've always pronounced it tha-nos.
The phrasing of the Avengers announcement makes it sound like a game universe, not necessarily a singular game. But it could be an ever expanding game with different episodes or characters playing differently.
Interested to see what the show is about. Hopefully not something like the Bloodbourne musical.
