Great fiasco. Feep killed it again with Shazam, 9432,
the scene where he plays the three characters, and breaking the forth wall at the end.
Kyle establishing the supernatural plot bit by bit was fantastic.
The new axis for real estate killed me.

Although it had the same issues as the other Feep episode with too many important side characters overshadowing the main cast.

Took a break for the thread, because it was a bummer, but I needed to just express how brilliantly broken yet fantastic this Fiasco is. It started so sensible too.
Yeah. They had the perfect amount of supernatural until a bit after the reveal.

FIASCO GAMES ARE INTERLINKED. AHHHHHHH.. THE WHITE HOLE AND THE BLACK GOO
I didn't get that until they elaborated. I loved that episode too but I can't remember any details :(

Whilst I agree that leaving out the PvP server issues in the For Honor review is quite the omission (I've been playing Siege for about a year now and it's a problem that multiple Ubi games suffer from), those Youtube comments are pretty unfair. I think this review is one of Huber's best and was clearly written by someone who's been playing the game quite a bit but people continually get held up on an arbitary number each time and are now calling Huber bias.

We've had this conversation a few times on here so I've probably already spoken my mind on it but I don't understand how a lot of people can't detach themselves from the score and just listen to the actual review.

The mash up names L&R game is amazing. The only one I got was one they struggled a lot,
Resident Evil Within
. It seemed so obvious, haha. What was the first game for the "outback egg tender" (did I got that right?) and the ones after it? My English listening skills failed me.

I am of the firm believe that score's are good or at the very least a neutral thing. The people who can't comprehend the most simple concepts like opinion and subjectivity are what's "wrong" with the so-called system. I tend to just ignore these groups, because I have no patience for such ignorance on as I said simple concepts - there shouldn't be a huge discussion about the definition of opinion, really.

But as you said, bummer for Huber, for sure. Super annoying. Flaws in the review are worth discussing, who gives the fuck about the score in that context, though.

The Adventures of Bayou Billy.

Favourite moments from the podcast: Ian and Ben's worst high five ever and the continued destruction of the platypus cry at the end.

I know, at least from my own background, that being unconstrained with character creation in improv is more exciting to me. I mean, I guess we could have gone crazier in the creation phase, but Kylie Jenner (no relation) felt like a fairly straightforward person, and I have more fun playing the crazy folks. I should work on better establishing individual and interesting character traits within existing archetypes for future episodes, I think.

Good review of For Honor. But the technical problems should have been mentioned, no need to dwell on those. Just give a heads up to people, since those weren't just launch day or even launch week problems. Maybe when he mentions the missteps with campaign and microtransactions, add match stability there too.

I feel like the latest Fiasco has one of the worse stories, but the absolute best characters (which of course carries the whole thing)

It's not bad at all (it's one of the better episodes) but its definitely scenes in service of the characters vs. a big mess of a plot like most episodes

So many good character moments

Some of you allies are crazy creative when it comes to submit games to Kyle.
This week's and the haikus were seriously good stuff!

i want the allies to do a pepper gaming review.

Oh oh yes please.
I can already imagine Kyle weaseling his way out because "why would i submit myself to deadly pepper? it's nonsense"

Ugh, yeah, the YouTube comments on that For Honor review are rouughhh. I could probably go 10 for 10 guessing who actually played the game for more than an hour and who just watched the Crowbcat video.

Just now watch the Hall of Greats stream... man Kyle is baiting everyone like crazy and they're falling for it revery time, lol.

What does Super Metroid do better than Metroid Prime? Not much, because they're both practically perfect games. :p

Sequence breaking? Not into speedruns, but I guess so.

No idea which did it better, but there's some pretty crazy Prime sequence-breaking out there.

But that also falls into "unintended" territory - might as well say that Prime is better because I can use the GC disc as a pocket mirror and I can't do that with Super. :p

It's not that Super is much better, it's that Prime brings itself down with that awful fetch quest in the last third of the game. I thought it was funny when Kyle tried to counter Blood by saying Super felt like a scavenger hunt when there is a literal scavenger hunt in Prime and it is by far the worst part of that game. Super's world design pulls you throughout the game naturally in a really amazing way and is not bogged down by having to collect x artifacts before you can go to the end.

Watching Ben play Xenoblade has been some of the most enjoyment I have gotten out of an EZA stream. Only Blood and Brandon streaming Earthbound or Kyle playing Banjo compares. I want more JRPG streams!

Artifacts are definitely the weakest part of the game but getting them is still extremely enjoyable. First 4/5s of the game is a 10/10 and the last 1/5 is an 8/10. Which is absolutely incredible.

Whaaaat? Timestamp pleaaaaae!
I'd say 12 minutes into it.

In other news after 70.5 hours I finally beat all main and sub missions of Nioh. I'm not great at these kinds of games so they take me longer but it's about overcoming the challenges and after downing those last two sub missions I'm riding on cloud nine!

I discovered the Allies through their Switch betting special a month ago, and I've really been enjoying their videos since. The gf and I have been having an especially great time getting into Tabletop Escapades together (which is surprising, as we both went into it with zero knowledge of how D&D works). Still at the beginning, about episode 15, but it's just too fun of a time.

Random question, but why does Ian usually wear headphones during Escapades?

Hmm, I don't remember this, must just be some early on episodes. Maybe he was monitoring the sound?

And man... some of those TTE eps had me laughing more than I have in a long time.

I love the crazy town folk, without them, the "player characters" would have less to play off of.

great, ridiculous EZUps.

every time I'm using my PSVR, there's a moment where I start thinking "I would look so ridiculous if someone came in and saw me right now. and I'd have no idea." this game takes that to a whole new level....... "game."

Dev is a gaffer, btw:

My new game Stage Presence, published by tinyBuild, which I've posted loads about in here is FINALLY coming out on Steam next Tuesday - Feb 28th! For those that don't know, it's a Comedy / Horror / Karaoke game (with optional VR bits if that's your jam).

I can't describe how ludicrously excited I am to finally release the damn thing! Cheers to everyone who's said nice things about it in here over the years!

Huh, didn't exactly get horror vibes from the game.
Probably in the "stage fright" sense.

Don't know if horror is quite the right genre description, but I'd wager there are quite a few people who find first person Resident Evil a more pleasant proposition than giving a speech in front of a few thousand.

Dunno if this has been posted but this is a really good interview with bosman about his beginnings and some behind the scenes eza stuff.

It was really "cute" how they talked about Millenials as if they weren't themselves lol

Great podcast hour, though.

Jared Petty did an interview with Mike Drucker recently, how he got one of his jokes on SNLs weekend update while he was an intern there, which I thought was a nice companion piece. --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPTRUZrv66k
