I finally bought myself an Anaconda after using Quince to build up an "insurance buffer" in case I crash it. It is certainly big. And slow.
Docking's not as hard as I though it might be, but I don't think I'll be using it to silent boost through the slot with a hold full of contraband. I had feared it would be like this.
But it has lots of guns, so that's okay. I even put railguns on the two silly small slots at the back of the undercarriage. Should be fun trying to aim those.
I'm hoping that Professor Palin can help a bit with the speed. And hopefully not at the expense of melting the ship whenever I hit boost. I've not engineered any 'dirty' drives before.
