So we will get 10% off MSRP for previous ownership or will they not fuck their customers?
Did you get that when you bought Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition?

Would people who already own Mario Kart 8 be satisfied if Nintendo have 16 new tracks with 4 New cups. New characters and power ups as well as the new mechanic of switching items.

Can't believe anyone even thought those were all sequels. Outside of what was shown of Mario, which definitely looked like something completely different, why anyone would think those were full blown new entries is beyond me. Wishful thinking at its best, as a wish I wouldn't even make to begin with. This isn't EA or Ubisoft we are talking about, as numbered titles tend to mean something to Nintendo.
Please, don't bring up Mario Party lol
I'd take a new Mario Party in the style of 1-3 with online!Mario party 1-10 with online would be hype
Do it Nintendo
Mario didn't look completely different at all. It looked like SMWorld and SM3dLand. It was playing with that same perspective thing that SM3dLand started.

So far every game has been either an enhanced port, or not even real for Skyrim's case.
I guess that Mario game might eventually be something.
Man the blowback from reveal has been pretty disheartening.
I just realized how dumb I am to be fully okay with the idea of paying full price for all of them even though I already own them for the Wii U.
Is Nintendo ever going to work out a special deal for us previous owners? No, right?

That qualifies as a new entry in the series so...yes.

Of course new ones will be there. This was a hardware trailer not a software trailer. Not really
On a new system I'd like new games. I mean ports or enhancements are always welcome as long as the new ones are there too
She's saying that Splatoon, Mario Kart, Zelda and Smash Bros will all be enhanced ports.

How would an enhanced port be branded? 'Splatoon Remastered'? 'Splatoon Switch' suggests a new game.
Maybe Splatoon: Switch Edition, if they are stuck on plugging the brand in the title. How would an enhanced port be branded? 'Splatoon Remastered'? 'Splatoon Switch' suggests a new game.

Here's the thing because Switch is not substantially more powerful than a Wii U and no new control gimmicks there is not much you can change up. The only time there wasn't a big graphics leap was from Double Dash to Wii and atleast then they changed it uo with optional motion controls.
I think 16 new tracks and 4 cups and now power ups, characters and the Switching Gameplay mechanic is enough for a new Mario Kart entry. So if they do that just think of all the old Mario Kart 8 content as bonus content.

You're crazy dude. Expect 2 or 3 major titles in 2017 along with some ports.

Fresh Coat EditionSplatoon: Fresh Edition
This is the only thing keeping MK8 from being completely perfect. I would buy it all over again if they did this.If they give Mario Kart 8 a real Battle Mode, then I'm buying it.
So they say 5 months from launch no Infos about anything until next year. The games are just ports. And its not the 3DS successor? Why should I care again? Gonna save that money for a PS4 Pro. At this rate this console will fail and maybe its the last Nintendo console.
It DOES feel somewhat early for a Splatoon sequel, so this makes sense. Pretty much figured that was just MK8 with new characters. I doubt the inevitable Smash port will have too much added, if anything, just based on the amount of DLC they already added. Again, probably a GOTY sort of edition.
Yeah.Good news to me since I skipped out on Wii U. Will pick up all these games.
I think people are worried Nintendo will be too focused on porting rather than new games but I don't think it'll be a problem. One platform for all devs to work on was definitely the move.

I regret buying digital now.
I got the BioShock 1, 2 and Skyrim remakes for free since I already own them on Steam.
