Enter The Gungeon |OT| Praise the gun

I just got a sudden bug (?) where my aiming seems to be tied to the direction my character is facing. Anyone know if this is a bug or some kind of toggle I accidentally hit? I'm playing on PC with a 360 controller, was working fine, but it just started happening on a new run and it's pretty annoying.

Finished downloaded this while at work and I'm ready to dig in! Loved the demo at PSX and the dudes at Devolver are fantastic.

It sucks seeing a bunch of chests on a floor and having no keys. I feel like I have to play as Pilot just for the lockpick

I think I found a pretty solid Steam controller config. I'm still not even used to the hardware itself but with a little practice it might work out better than kb+m.

Yesssssssssss finally

This feels so good at 144fps >:D

Just picked up an ak47... was not expecting real ass guns in this tbh, found that pretty funny

yea ive hit the point where I think im gonna read up a bit

im doing runs till chamber 4 regularly and there's way too many weird rooms where im supposed to do something for sure

Played about 4 hours of co-op with a buddy.

hella fun, only issue is that the camera can be a little wonky...really have to coordinate your movement

I got a ring that it said it made thrown guns explode.

oh I haven't seen that yet.. is it an active item maybe? there's a button to switch between them if you have more than one (which I'm not sure if that's based on having another item or if that is based on an item's properties.. some times I could have two active items and other times I would pick up one and it would replace the current one)

what's up with the weird creature hangin in the shop that says "something for the collection? I will compensate you :)"

no idea what im supposed to give him or how

Thank you for your purchase! *☆*゜*★\(^ω^)/★*゜*☆*

Will be testing it in about 10 hours or so.

Dodge Roll has to be commended again for that Quick Start option. I can't recall any other PC game I've played that lets you jump right into the action so fast. It's aspects like that and the ample teleporters and auto-collection of coins that really highly how polished the game is, and how the devs streamlined things to cut out the boring stuff and keep you in the action

Drop guns you want to sell on the grate.

I assumed so but I didnt seem to be able to drop guns from the menu

also, secret rooms require an explosive weapon or something, right?

crack on door, but cant open it nor break it by keep shooting it

I agree on that

yet at the same time I dont care about that dying aim-sight animation

just show me a quick rundown on my run and let me start over fast, like Isaac

weird that they let you skip the game's opening but not that

Hold F to drop your currently equipped gun by default.

And what's up with the random statues that say "... Offering?" I dropped a gun in front of it but nothing happened.

I'm... I'm not sure I like the reload mechanic. Needlessly complicates things.

I like the items that activate on reload but I don't think the tradeoff is worth it.

I don't know if I'm using the wrong guns but I'm finding the bosses waaaaay too grindy. Wish they had a little less HP.

Edit: is there a system of types of guns effective against certain bosses?

Like, Pokemon?

Right on. The devs made so many smart decisions to cut out the busy work. At the same time there's a huge amount of depth and mystery to the Gungeon. What a mysterious and wonderful game.
