I haven't seen this mentioned on GAF: EmuTarkov
This is a singleplayer mod that is the entire game run locally; it's on 12.9 with all of the progression, the dealers, quests, hideout, flea market, loot tables, etc. that can be set up in just a couple minutes. Copy/paste your EFT folder somewhere, download a ~50MB zip file, unzip in the new EFT folder, launch server.exe, launch launcher.exe, and you are playing single-player Tarkov.
There are AI PMCs. You can change the difficulty and population for PMCs and scavs prior to each raid. There are also mods available. I've only spent a few hours with it, but I have had zero issues so far.
Missed this thread somehow. I started this game a couple weeks into January, did the obligatory full load-out and lose my shit a few times in a row before going to check out some videos. I play solo, and I'm not much for PVP, but you can't seem to avoid it in this game, and being low level w/out any decent ammo (or aim ) it's not super fun...that's not even including all the snipes from nowhere etc.
Found this mod, and enjoying things now that I can actually progress w/ the tasks without bush camping for the first half of the raid to even stand a chance of extracting.
Added a couple mods for increasing AI difficulty. It's definitely different feeling from real online and 'easier' I think, but I definitely still die plenty from stupid moves. I think once I get more in the groove using this mod I'll hop back true online at some point, there definitely is something special about the 'lose it all' or glory moments.
Isn't the whole point of Tarkov progressing and getting better and richer? What's the point of an offline mod? I prolly don't understand how it works....
Is it only in the beta phase they do it or will it be a feature? That's the only thing holding me from buying it. I hate lost progression.Yes, but they have wipes that reset everyone's progress 2-3x a year. I don't have the time required to max my hideout, get kappa, bring the best gear to labs etc. before another wipe happens and we're starting all over again.

Getting to level ten nearly killed me and I dropped it at level nine which took me over thirty hours I think. I loved and hated it at the same time and no other game has driven me as crazy.Started playing this with 12 year old son who is now level 50ish and good, I am now level 14 and for anyone unsure about the game the key is to get to level 10 as quickly as you can so that you can get better things from the flea market. It looks bloody marvellous on my new Rx6800

It's just so tough on a new player, especially if you join after early wipe. You just get one shotted by geared up chads more often than not. It's a nightmare and one they really need to fix. The noobs are just chum in the water and it's really off putting. It would be fine if it was just down to the vets being more skilled but it's the fact that they are more skilled and have way better gear. It's as if a battle royale automatically gave the highest ranking players the best weapons each round - that's what it feels like.
Lol I'm 40 myself. It imperative you have someone who knows the extracts and where they are going. and early on just get in kill a few scavs and get out. maybe we should arrange a small neogaf team although being 44 I am not into joining groups of kids (my son excluded)
Scav karma is a fairly new addition to Escape From Tarkov, but has changed much of the gameplay from raid to raid. With more careful cooperation between Scavs and even PMCs how has this changed the Tarkov experience?
