Linker introducing MOTD as if Roy died. Jeez.
BBC highlights just starting. Rooney has scored from the spot.
Don't ruin the result for me, lads.
Come on, England!
Edit: Oh no.
Real talk, was Roy Englands worst manager ever?
McClaren was far worse, he still had players like Gerrard, Lampard and a prime Rooney but still fucked it up.Real talk, was Roy Englands worst manager ever?

Nah. At least Hodgson qualified for all the tournaments he could, unlike Steve McLaren.Real talk, was Roy Englands worst manager ever?

I'm not saying they were favourites or anything; but I firmly believe that this was on paper a mostly strong team (barring Hart and Sterling) that Hodgson squandered.

I was watching the game with my old man and the exact thing I said at 70 minutes is where is Rashford? Young player, little pressure/expectation, fast and skillful.... But no, Roy keeping that Kane/Sturridge combo going and Sterling for a good chunk.

"oh no"
England players frantically googling football after playing Iceland.
I wondered if this might end Joe Hart's status as England's number one keeper, but then I remembered he plays for a Big Club and is thus guaranteed the role forever. We also must find a space for our eternal talisman Rooney, shiteness be damned.

The things coming out of this are killing me.
lol city big club?
So how does each individual players play? All I heard is Kane is horrible.

He'll need to improve tenfold if he wants to survive more than one season under Pep.
And Robbie isn't even on tonight!Damn, bbc pundits have been savage

I hope so. I don't support City, or particularly care about the England squad, but even I'm sick of watching Joe Hart flail helplessly at all but the weakest of shots.
His distribution is awful, I think Pep will be looking to quickly replace himHe'll need to improve tenfold if he wants to survive more than one season under Pep.
Forsters a really good goalkeeper as well.
My personal highlight of the typical English arrogance was the half time analysis:
'Do they drop Joe Hart for the quarter final?'
You just can't make it up. They'll never learn.
